My alarm is at the top of the list. That thing has a pitch that I can not stand, good for getting me out of bed but not so good if say some one else with the same alarm has theirs going off cause it drives me crazy.

The sound too if wet shoes on a linoleum floor just makes me cringe. I hate it bad enough that I will go out of my way to either take off my shoes or find another surface to walk on if my shoes are wet.

Then when my fellow dorm mates come back drunk. The sound they make stumbling up the stairwell is obnoxious as most have on high heels that make the most dreadful clatter. That and non of them have volume control so you can hear ever word they say.

Oh gosh, there are a lot of sounds that I hate. First and foremost, I hate when you can hear everything that people eat. Like, when they're crunching on cereal, or chewing bananas, or biting apples. It all just really bothers me, especially since I'm a quiet and slow eater. Second of all, I hate my alarm clock. I mean, it's the radio playing instead of some obnoxious ring, but it bothers the hell out of me (especially when it's the first thing I have to hear when I wake up in the morning). I also hate the sound of the ambulance and other things that freaking wail. Oh, and I absolutely hate loud sounds. They always scare me and hurt my ears!

Now, not too many sounds bother me, besides the typical ones like nails on a chalkboard.

But have you ever listened closely to a song, and heard a hidden instrumental part you've never heard before, and its a really annoying sounding part. And from then on every time you hear the song all you can focus on is the annoying part, and you can't like the song any more?

Nails on a chalkboard don't bother me. xD
But I don't like it when dogs CONSTANTLY bark.

I can relate to that, Txenriks.

Txenriks: Hahahah yeah! I've totally done that with songs! I also would set my alarm for a semester to a song, and now there are two songs that I can't stand the first 15 seconds of, but the rest of the song is mostly fine!

Kerry: <.< I can never find an alarm that is that annoying to me. And I'm kind of glad. While sure, I might sleep through an alarm or three, but if I woke up to an alarm that I hated every day, I'd be even more grouchy in the morning.
<.< I always feel bad when my set shoes make that scrrech sound.
I live downtown, and there's no sound insulation, so I hear drunks all the time! Its always when I plan on going to sleep early too!

Ananassa: Bouncy Heart

Indigo: I've had classmates like that. Usually initially it doesn't bother me, but then you have enough bad discussions with them, that just the sound of their voice makes you want to punch them!
There's also people with really annoying laughs. That aren't that bad, but once you get them laughing, they don't stop, and then it is that bad.

Chu: White noise= T_T
my old cell used to do that all the time!

Urboros: I hate birds in the morning! They are so annoying and once you wake up, you can't go back to sleep because they're that loud!
I peel my nails too, but its silent when I do it. What is she doing?

Kerryfox: Oh, when my shoes squeak it bothers me too. xD Certain pairs of shoes do it more than others, so I avoid wearing them on rainy days. Not that I own ALL that many shoes.

...I am suddenly reminded of that one episode of Spongebob that deals with squeaky shoes.

And yeah, for some reason I feel sort of guilty when my shoes make squeaky sounds, like its my fault and I should hide it. xD
