Walking past the vendor area, Ana noticed that strange couple once again. She leaned against a nearby tree and watched them for a few moments. "Why does that boy show her any interest at all?" she thought sourly, "He is clearly out of her legue"

[Squid]

Squid gave a sort of surprised look at Ithea. ''Running out of food ideas? With everything they have to offer here? I usually keep pretty safe and stick with the sushi or stir fry.'' Then a tentacle pointed to a booth not far off with a small line of waiting people. ''That's where I got this one from''

Squid held out a tentacle to Ithea, while another one idly brushed off a lotus petal that had fallen in to the food ''It's very nice to meet you, too.''

(Aaya, walk by or something, and I'll drag in to play with us so you're not alone. If you want. Keep the spider out, so it'll be easy for me to respond lol)

[Cougati]

Ithea took the proffered tentacle.

"Well, it's mostly a matter of being unfamiliar with the food. I'm not sure what I can actually eat, so I'm trying find things I know. It's my first time in such a multicultural event."

She smiled.

Aay stood up, "Go on then, Julian. Port back to the house for me, and stay there for now? I have Muse with me," she chuckled a bit at the arachnid. He clicked as he took the new bottles back with him. Lord knows there had to be at least forty bottles by now completed.

She clapped her hands as the portal closed, and lifted her satchel. Time to explore a little more. She took down her tarp-like tent and smiled happily before folding it into her satchel. It didn't take too long for her to remove her presence from the tree, save the fact there was a big gap of eart where petals normally fell that she had collected.

She rubbed Muses ears quietly before wandering then toward the festival. It was time to get some food. She was hungry!

(*gives up on uber posting unless uber posted to* I like writing too much I suppose. But apparently I gotta start catering to other peoples wants if I want interaction. :< That and I'm trying to find an office chair and FAILING. AFF.)

[Squid]

''Oh?'' Squid questioned, ''What do you eat where you are from? Where are you from? Are you having a pleasant time here?'' After the mini-barrage of questions, Squid offered the rest of the stir fry to Ithea, ''Actually, you can finish this off, if you want. I'm afraid I have to ... take care of something.''

Of what, Squid didn't say, merely getting up and heading off, carried easily by many tentacles. Before Squid could actually make it very far, though, a distraction came in the form of a kitty. Squid squealed, and dropped down to the cat's level, petting and stroking it with a couple of the tentles. ''Oh, who's a pretty baby?'' Squid coo'd.

Realising what Squid was actually doing, Squid stopped, looked up at Aaya apologetically, and continued on away from the festival. No one saw that, right?

And I don't see why. I post longer due to the fact I get more silver for it, I get feathers for it, and, well, that's just how I roll. I grew up roleplaying in advanced literate (not only with grammar, but rather long story posts) roleplays on gaia. :/ But if people are scared off by a lot of words I don't really get the point of roleplaying, then. I try to make it interesting at least. Guess I'm not interesting enough. :<)

Aay blinked when a tentacled being suddenly approached her, well, rather, approached Muse. The cat was still perched atop her head when the being began cooing and babytalking to him.

Muse fluffed out in utter shock for a few seconds as he was pet and stroked by tentacles, somewhat startled by it entirely. His ears pushed back and he refrained from attacking, just clinging to Aays head. Aay yelped a little bit, rubbing at the cats sides he finally released his claws from her scalp.

Though the being seemed apologetic and left as quickly as it had arrived, suddenly, ah, 'walking away'. She quirked a brow slightly, then turned her eyes in the direction that it had come from, "Was that in the lake? Maybe you should be more careful when you play around there, Muse," she chuckled.

Muse let out a pathetic sound before curling up a little around her neck. Aay spotted a few folks where Squid had been, and smelled some kind of rice dish. Oh that smelled good! She found the stand nearby to Ithea and immediately ordered a rather large bowl, house Mei Fun noodles with shrimp, chicken, steak, oh god it looked divine! Muse swiped a piece of shrimp once in a while.

[Benimaru]

Benimaru felt foolish, Now you've done it, Benimaru! inside his mind, Benimaru scolded himself, Way to make an awkward moment, you blockhead! Why am I so awkward now? I'm such a- It was in that moment Benimaru felt that unmistakeably uncomfortable feeling of eyes watching them. The person was not far away, leaning against a tree, A spy from the clans? Perhaps when we were asking around last night, we brought to much attention to ourselves.... "Kasumi, would you mind terribly if we went somewhere else right now, I just suddenly feel the need to stretch my legs, you know?" He gave no indication that he had saw the person, not wanting to take any chances...

[Cougati]

"Food from the same stand?" Ithea asked with a laugh to the new arrival standing not far from her. "It does seem to be good, isn't it?" she was happily finishing off the rest of the bowl her previous companion had so graciously left her.

"My name's Ithea, by the way."

[Kasumi Ocada]

Kasumi hadn't noticed what Benimaru had, so her attention was completely on the moment before her. "Well.. sure, if you want to." she said, smiling at him.

(I are not feeling well so I've gotta lay down... bbl)

[Aaya-Tan]

Aay grinned a bit, "It's heavenly, isn't it?" she laughed happily as she took some chopsticks and began eating the rice noodles. She literally shivered, "Oh my it's good! Muse! That's my shrimp, dammit!"

Muse let out a yowl, he was hungry too! The cook felt sorry for him, and actually cooked up a small bowl of shrimp for him on th side. Aay took the two pieces back that Muse had snatched, then tried paying the elderly man behind the counter. He shook his head and laughed, saying he was glad to help.

Aay turned to face Ithea, "My name's Aayanoru. Aay for short! I'd shake your hand, but I haven't eaten today, so I'm famished!" and she stuffed a bit more of the Mei Fun into her mouth, nearly squeaing in absolute joy.

[LOL UR FACE]

Wednesday marched down the aisle of food stands, a clear look of frustration on her face.

That's what she gets for leaving last night. Now she couldn't find that damn air headed, emotionless, worthless Fuu clan leader anywhere. That was when she spotted her.

"Aha!" she marched over to the strange looking woman with the creatures from before. She would know where he was for sure. She went right up to her and exclaimed, "You! Woman! Where is he? Are you hiding him? There is no escape!"

[Cougati]

Ithea laughed at that.

"Well, then, I won't get in your way!" She had finished her own bowl, and leaned down to pet the cat.

"He sure is cute! His name's Muse?" She asked.

[Aaya-Tan]

Aay laughed, "Yes, his name is Muse. He's a big baby, isn't he? But he's a sweetie," she rubbed his spine as well. Muse purred happily at all the attention. But then all of a sudden, Wednesday approached again.

Aay spotted her and instantly winced. Great, Stalker Shiela was back. She offered a small smile when she was suddenly bombarded with questions. He-- OH! She meant Sho! Why did everyone assume she knew his every possible move!? She was just a member of his clan! That.. Might have a crush on him, but still!

"Ah, I don't know where he is. He's probably actually working, why are you even stalking him anyway? Part of a secret society fan-club with the Fire clan?" she quirked a brow slightly, spinning her chair around, she put more noodles in her mouth as though the conversation wasn't exactly as important as Wednesday was making it seem.

[LOL UR FACE]

Wednesday's mouth dropped. With her mouth gaping open and a look of being mortified she stood shocked for moment. "Fan... club?"

Suddenly her head leaned back and she burst out with roaring laughter. "Ahahahahaha fan club? For him?" More laughter. "Oh dear I have better tastes than that!" Yet more obnoxious laughter. "I like real men, and the only real men are in the fire clan!" Her laughter began to slowly die down and it eventually dwindled to a halt.

She sat down next to Aay once she could breathe again and slapped her hand on the counter. "Who's running the operation?! I'm hungry!"
