Let's Go Flower-viewing! {PLEASE READ FIRST POST!}

"Still, for someone like me, that's amazing! I would never be able to do something like that. ah....to be able to live the peaceful life, it must be nice. Are you going to...er...do anything with this story, or is it just in fun?"

[Berlin]

Berlin looked down at the drawing. "Oh, wow! I've always wanted to learn to draw," he said excited that she wasn't poking more at where he had been.

"No, not at all." Daza said, waving her hand slightly. "Go ahead."

"I was reading book on mythology. Legends, stories. Were you aware that all mythological stories were based on belief and exaggerated fact?"

Books not only got Daza out of her awkward quiet zone, but any sort of discussion about them immediately held her attention.

She pulled out the heavy blue book, it's pages bound by a simple red cover. "I actually had to piece this one together myself. It was falling apart. A shame, really. The original cover was beautifully illustrated. It got ruined by a roof leak..."

"Well, perhaps AJ could teach you in your and her spare time."

She snorted.

"Although, you don't get much free time, and I'm sure AJ has many things to do as well."

Jay doesnt find tran or Nassii anywhere so he decides to stop by his favorite noodle shop in hopes of making new friends as well as keeping the old ones and he said to him self "i might as well have a bowl of spicy ramen while im at it too" and he asks the stall owner for a large bowl of spicy ramen.

[Berlin]

Berlin laughed adding in "Free time is for the free." He had learned long ago that you felt better when poking fun at your own situations. Even if you didn't want to be in it.

"And speaking of free time...you didn't tell me where you were."

She glared at him.

[Grymmlock]

"Thanks," he nodded, lighting the cigarette and taking a drag.

He listened intently to her, smiling just a little.. sort of like a kid in a candy store, really. Daewoon sat down on the ground, leaning slightly against the tree trunk, and signaled for Daza to do the same.

"Really? That sounds.. amazing. I've never really done much reading on mythology, and I certainly didn't know what they were based on," he paused, taking another drag. His eyes widened at the book and he looked sort of giddy, "Where'd you find that? It's breathtaking."

He bit on his thumb for a bit, like a child who wants to touch something he knows he shouldn't.

"Maybe you could... show me some of it? I don't want to touch it and ruin in, but it seems like it'd be fascinating..."

[Berlin]

Berlin gave out a nervous laugh. "S-sorry." His eyes went straight to the ground as he was starting to feel inferior again. "I kinda got lost in the crowd and then you were gone and there was some shiny gold stuff I guy was selling and you know I can't help myself," he said as fast as he possibly could.

[Cougati]

She raised her eyebrow at him. Somehow, she thought he was lying, but decided not to press the issue. Yet.

"Oh." She said. "Well, why didn't you just say so?" She then turned her attention back to AJ.

[Transcendence]

Tran walks in and spies Jay.

She waves to him from a distance.

"Hi, Jay"

((may not be able to talk long ...may poof.))

"I have a kind of private collection." She replied, thumbing several of the pages.

"What people have given me along with what I've purchased. I deal in rare antiquities and old books like this one privately." Daza said.

"This one was from a man who came over from egypt. He bought a 3 foot tall hand carved jade sphynx from the 4th century and this was part of the payment. I probably shouldn't carry rare books around with me, but it's the best way to keep an eye on them. And absolutely."

She opened the book up to a page where hand scribed text covers half of it and a very faded but clearly wonderful drawing on the other. "It's always suprising how preserved they are."

"TRAN!!!!" Jay yells while jupping up and down and waving his hands all over the place like a a crazy little boy as tran comes to sit next to Jay he asks "why do you look so down is everything ok?"

Tran is happy to see Jay, she feels her spirits uplift.
"Oh, I am alright, just a little sad. Nassii disappeared this morning."
*sigh*
"I do hope he comes back"

Tran pokes Jay, "Well you seem happy"

[Grymmlock]

"Really?" he sounded surprised when he heard that she basically had her own business. "That's impressive! You get to deal in tangible history and amazing books like this and all I do is skin art."

He sighed, taking another drag of his cigarette. He loved what he did, really, but everyone else seemed to have a cooler job than him. His attention was pulled back from his silent musings when she mentioned it was part of payment for an item.

"What other kinds of antiquities do you carry?" he questioned, wondering if maybe she'd have, or know of where to get, a certain item he'd been looking for.

Then she opened the book to a page with a drawing and he found he couldn't think of anything to say. Being an artist himself, he was always blown away by amazing work like this.
