Aay wasn't necessarily YELLING at him, she wanted to, but she never raised her voice unless she had to. IT was very rare that she had to, and Lucrid wasn't worth the time nor the energy needed to do so. He was an ass, yes, but just an ass. Not a monster. At least, that's what she thought.
Lucrid frowned a little, "C'mon, Aay, I'm sorry. Look, you're pissing your friend off, and you two were having so much fun..."
"Yeah, until you showed up. Just crawl back into the shadows, Lucrid! You're ruining everything!" Aay huffed, but she stopped when something was dangled in front of her face. The shadows had formed above her in the branches of a lotus tree and something large was swinging.
Her satchel!
"How did you-- You stole it, didn't you!?" she grabbed the item and hugged it to her chest, glad to have it back finally.
Lucrid shook his head, "No, I spotted the little runt stealing it. He just wanted the food, so I gave it to him and replaced it with fresh foods myself, no wallet was touched, I made sure of it. I know how much you generally carry around."
"Stop spying on me, jerk," her insult wasn't as dagger sharp as it usually was. It was her way of saying thank you to the man, whom didn't seem all that inclined not to accept it. He literally puffed his chest with pride and smiled broadly. See? He was a good guy! Don't hate him because he's a weirdo!
Muse hated him because he was a weirdo, though. Always would. He was really weird, and he couldn't read him like he could others. Even Frey and Maverick were relatively easy to read, but Lucrid was always bringing back bad memories that made Aay sad and made her cry sometimes.
The hair thing was just a cover up for why she was really upset, it was obvious. Between her and Lucrid, much had passed, and there wasn't much that could be done to repair it.
A broken heart and a broken spirit were extremely hard to repair with anything, even duct tape. |
Frey was relieved that Aay had gotten her satchel back. She could actually put on the glasses that fit now, plus she had been reunited with all her other belongings. Still, Frey wasn't quite sure what to say. She wanted her good mood back. Maybe her empathetic abilities that she had with Maverick had crossed over to Aay? She didn't know if that was actually possible, but Aay wasn't happy now and neither was she.
Turning to Lucrid once he returned the satchel and partly proved himself to be helpful, she spoke. "Lucrid, I am Frey Malik and this is my cave lioness, Maverick." She didn't add 'pleased to meet you' because she wasn't sure if she was actually pleased to meet him at all.
She shifted positions, running her hand through Maverick's thick fur, the great lioness nosing her gently. I know Maverick, she thought towards her cave lion. Her ruby eyes shifted towards Lucrid and she wondered silently how she would have reacted if she had met him alone. She was basically feeding off Aay's emotions and using her to react to Lucrid's presense. What would it have been like if she had just met him?
Frey smirked gently. It probably would have consisted of her simply walking away. She wasn't social by any means. Aay had been an exception. She was different somehow, though Frey wasn't sure how. The feline women frowned deeply. Had her empathetic abilities really shifted to include Aay as well? Was such a thing possible?

| rhee carefully smothered the fire with mud and cleaned up her little camp securing everything back in her sack of holding, Rhee got up Mr.Meow had already left in search of sweets. Rhee meander slowly out of the little alcove she had found.

| Ella woke up, showered, ate breakfast and quickly went to the festival.
Arrived, she went to sit under a Lotus Tree on the hill.
She had a tremendous look over the whole festival, and slipped a quiet "Amazing." out of her mouth.
She could just fall right back to sleep here, she simply loved the view and the silence around here. "This is really a place to take a breath whenever you've had enough. Not that I have enough of the festival, I'm enjoying it. But I need some time to really wake up first." She told to herself, yawning and stretching.

| i do belive your in the wrong thread to ask that but you dont need to get the blooms from just feathers the blooms are random drops from posting or page surfing or the battle system

| Kai walked onto the festival grounds in awe. She wasnt used to this many people or this luxury. She sat quietly on a sone wall, and watched those around her, wondering if anyone noticed she was there.
