| "Thanks Lindsay." Ashley said with a smile before they got to work. When they were just about done with the pancakes, and LIndsay had practically ordered Ashley to go sit down, she gave him a quick hug before doing so.

| He sighed as she left, and looked at his hand.
"What was with that numbness...?" he asked himself.
"It's never been that bad before.... how strange..."

| It wasn't too long later, and both Lindsay and Ashley were sitting at the table enjoying the pancakes that had been made up.
"So how is your appointment list today?" Ashley asked, curious.

| "Pretty light." he told her.
"I only have 3 that are scheduled today. 2 this morning, 1 this afternoon." he said.
"Good thing, too..." he muttered, not realizing she had heard him.

"Huh? What?" he asked.
"Oh... oh, uh... it's nothing... just... had some trouble getting up this morning."

| "I... I don't know." he replied.
He then proceeded to explain the sensations he felt with he had awoken, the numbness, specifically.
"But, thankfully, Casey was able to jolt it out of me." he added with a smile.

"I know this is more severe that when I've woken up with numbness in the past, but... it's probably just an isolated incident right?" he asked.

| Ashley just sighed slightly.
"I don't know. Probably." She said.
"Just... there's something in the air." She added after a minute, one of the first times she admitted even being anything along the lines of elven.
"It just... I don't know, feels odd here. Nothing too alarming, or too noticeable. Hell, if you were to go out of the city and come back, I doubt you would notice, but..."

"Ashley... I never thought I'd say this... but I think you're overreacting." he told her.
"Seriously, this is just an isolated incident, I feel fine now, everything's cool." he assured her.

| She looked at him almost sharply before sighing.
"I... yeah. Probably." she agreed.
"I don't know, it's probably because of the fact that I haven't been sleeping all that much for the past bit now. It's probably just catching up with me." She added.
