Jaden nodded.

"Yeah, of course." he replied, as he looked over to Desiree and smiled, gesturing for her and Darrell to come as well.

Desiree saw Sydney, waved and just grinned slightly before making her way to her son, who was considering heading up to check on Samantha again.

"Hey, your father wants you." she told him simply.

Darrell looked to his mother.

"Huh?" he asked, before looking to where Jaden... and Sydney... were.

"Wh... what?" he whispered in a hushed tone, before slowly making his way over.

"G... Grandma?" he asked, now within Sydney's earshot.

Sydney looked over to Darrell and just smiled.

"Heya kid." She said.

"Don't worry. Me being here isn't a bad omen or anything. I just figured I would take Vincent up on his offer to come join the party." She added

Jaden stepped back from Sydney, just as Darrell raced forward and almost tackled her in a hug.

"Grandma!" he exclaimed.

"Gramdma, I've missed you."

Sydney just chuckled lightly as she hugged Darrell back.

"And I've missed you." She said, her voice betraying the small smile on her face. It was easy to tell that she was happy to be there.

About an hour later, while everyone was mingling, Sydney pulled Vincent aside.

"Vincent, from what I know I need your agreeance on this. I want to let GRegory and Madison go free. Gregory has paid his dues, and Madison was never supposed to end up stuck in that position in the first place." she started.

"I want to revive them. Completely. Do you agree, or are you going to stop me? Not that it would be hard..."

Vincent looked to be agreeing with her, when she was speaking about freeing Madison and Gregory from their duties. But when she mentioned about fully reviving them, he stopped for a moment, and looked at her.

"Revive?" he asked.

"As in, you with to make them alive once more?" he asked further.

"Well... the first, and obvious question, is the one of someone taking Gregory's place." he then added.

Sydney just grinned.

"I have someone in mind." She told him simply as a scroll appeared in her hand.

"Here. This is hm, and I'm sure you can see why I think he'd be a good pick." She added as she handed it to him. It outlined someone from Heaven, someone from his realm, that had lived to help others. His final wish was that he could help others even though he was dead, and Sydney believed tht this was the perfect way for him to.

Vincent looked to the scroll, and just shook his head with a smile.

"Heh... and to think that the position of reaper used to be that of a punishment, as opposed to a reward." he said.

"The afterlife is just as strange as living." he commented with a chuckle.

"Even Madison considers it to be a reward." Sydney commented.

"But, do you agree with this?" She asked.

He sighed.

"Yes, I agree to this replacement." he said, his words seeming to indicate that he was not in favour of reviving them.

"...and I also agree that both Gregory and Madison's lives were cut too short." he continued.

"And that they have done more than enough to earn the right to live them out."

Sydney couldn't help but smile, although it would be one of the last pure and honest smiles that she would ever give.

"Thank you, Vincent." she said before heading back over to Darrell and her Son.

"I have to head out. I have business to attend to." She said with a bit of a smirk, playing it up as best she could. Considering her position, it wasn't hard.

Darrell and Jaden looked to her, and both nodded.

"All right, Mom." Jaden said.

"Bye, Grandma." Darrell replied, as they both gave her a hug at the same time.

"All right, it was quite a surprise to see you, Sydney." Desiree said with a smile as Sydney hugged the boys.

"I'm sure you'll see me again... before you die." Sydney said with a small laugh before pulling back from the two and seeming to sink into the floor.

She appeared in what had become her office, and sighed slightly before issuing a call out to Gregory. She had to summon him, after all, for this to work.

It was a matter of about 30 seconds, before she heard knocking on her door.

"Sydney! It's me!" Gregory called from behind it.
