| I thought I'd throw my first, and best, series out there for people to read. My thought: 'hell, if they want to read something, and they liek this, why the hell not?' soooo, yeah, if enough people read it, and like it, I will start posting the later, and much better (since I wrote them at much later points in my life) chapters.

A Saint and a Sinner
Prolog
A breeze blew across Sinis city, its cold sting affecting the whole populace. From a low window in a battered building, the buildings surrounding it no better, they never were in the Slums, a small stream of smoke rouse in a winding fashion, to be dispersed by the wind. Inside the window, sitting in a room no bigger than a small bedroom, sat a man, he stared out the window, a cigarette dangling from the fingers of his free hand. He blinked and looked to the man across from him; he also stared out the window, unblinking. His eyes held the emptiness of a defeated man, a man with no hope. He looked back out the window and up to the tower towards the middle of the city. A gigantic clock hung from the top of the tower, it read: 12:28. Sighing the man flicked his cigarette out the window and slowly stood, nodding to some of the many other men and women sitting around the room. Across from him the man shifted and looked up at him.
“…time for switch...” Was all he said, in a low grating voice. The other man nodded and turned towards the door, 3 men and 2 women already standing there. He placed a foot down in front of him and drew his gun from his side holster, wedging it inside his cloak. The other man turned back to look out the window. “Sin….how long has it been?” The man named Sin didn’t look back at him.
“…a week.” With this said Sin walked to the door and nodded to the others, he opened the door and walked out, followed by the others. Inside the other man looked up at the tower.
“Now answer me this, Saint of the Sinners. How much longer?”
Up in the high rises of the city, the exact center, a woman stood leaning against a doorway. In front of her was a balcony, behind, a room furnished with all manners of expensive things. She looked across the way at the tower, slightly higher than her building. The big clock read 12:29. Sighing deeply the woman closed the glass doors to her balcony and turned to her room. She sat down on a chair of velvet and looked in the mirror. What she saw was much different from when others looked upon her. Long wavy brown hair fell to her shoulders as well as having brown eyes. In many aspects, she was beautiful. What she saw in the mirror was a sad girl, longing for something else. Standing back up she walked around the room until a slight creaking made her turn to the door. An older woman stood there smiling lightly.
“Hello Belle, how has your day been?” She proceeded in collect the clothes spread across her room. She kept her smile all the while, but its stiffness made it seem fake.
“It has been the same as always, perfect.” Belle ran her hand along a curtain as she looked out a window. She sighed and turned back to the older woman. “And you Katrinia?” At this Katrinia frowned slightly, but her smile stole back onto her face almost instantly.
“Belle, now you know that is of no importance.” She laughed with an air of staleness, as if she’d laughed at similar things many times.
“…ohh, yes.” She then looked down at her dress and smiled a little. “I think I shall take a walk…” Katrinia frowned a little.
“Ask Mr. Feille first.” By the time she said this Belle was already out the door. “That girl….a Sinner among Saints” She shrugged and her smile left her face, but she still went around the room, cleaning everything up.
