"Heh, seems the appointment won't be needed." he said.

| "... Kaia..." Demi said quietly as she just held her daughter close.
"Mom, please. Don't be so hasty this time." Kaia begged. Demi didn't say anything, just nodded.
After a few minutes she let her daughter go, but still, she was silent. She didn't know what to say.

| Lindsay walked over to Demi, and knelt down.
"Hey, Demi..." he said.
"Perhaps you'd best take what's left of your magic out of her." he suggested.

| "Huh? Oh.. right." Demi said before flicking her wrist a bit. Almost instantly, as soon as she did that, what looked like ink came out of Kaia's torso as she dropped to her knees from the suddenness.
"Ack! Mom!" Kaia exclaimed.
"A little warning next time!" She added.
"Sorry..." was all Demi said, guilt in her tone.

| Ash just shook his head.
"Here, Demi." he said.
"Here's the ball of death you threw at me." he added, tossing the tainted orb over to her.

| She caught it deftly and sighed as it vanished.
"Kaia... " She said quietly.
"I'm sorry."
"I... what?" Kaia asked, confusion on her face.
"I'm sorry for treating you the way I had before."
"... It's alright. Just, let's both clean up our acts, alright?" Kaia asked, not realizing how unlike her this was.

| Ash just blinked.
"Is... is this really Kaia?" he asked his brother.
Lindsay just crossed his arms and nodded.
"Yes." he replied.
"Though it seems that she's no longer a child."

| Demi nodded.
"I won't be living back at home though. I'm finding my own place. I can't stay there, since we're just going to get at each others throats again." Kaia said before her mother could say anything.
Demi just nodded again before hugging Kaia, this time a proper hug, which Kaia returned.
"Now, I need to go. That blasted took a lot of out of me, and I honestly feel like I'm about to collapse." Kaia admitted as she stepped back from her mother.

"Kaia..." he said.
"Have you ever considered the possibility that you may be a... pure elemental?" he asked.

| Kaia sat down on the grass before shaking her head slightly, as if to clear it.
"Bloody hell..." she said quietly before looking up at Lindsay.
"When Jaden and I helped Desiree and Sydney out of that damned building, his hands were severely charred. I was able to fix them a bit, along with help get Desiree on her feet agian." she told him honestly.

| "Yep, that sounds an awful lot like a pure elemental." he said.
"But... she's a Fryane." Ash said. "She should have darkness and tainted in her." he reasoned.
"I don't." Lindsay countered.
"But that might be because of the experiments done." Ash rebutted.
"True... but keep in mind who her grandfather is." Lindsay reminded him, which just caused Ash to look confused.

"Ash, my father is Vincent." She told him honestly.
"Meaning that Kiah and Kaia are his granddaughters."
