| He sighed a bit, before kissing her, as they made their way to the bedroom.
-Weeks later-
Jaden came home and sighed, as he sat down on the couch.
"Damn.... tough crowd." he muttered.
"Had to pull out all the stops to impress them." he added with a deep exhale.

| "Oh! Jaden, you're home!" Desiree said as she walked into the den, a cup of coffee, of all things, in her hand. She made her way over and held it out to Jaden.
"Here." she said with a smile.

"Well, honestly, I've been craving pizza lately." he told her.
"Though, that'll take too long, really." he added with a sigh.
"Maybe delivery..." he then muttered.

| "I still have some dough left over from when I made it up for you a couple weeks ago. So I could do it from scratch again. It doesn't take too long in the oven." Desiree said honestly.

| He watched her go, before thinking.
"Oh yeah, Desiree!" he called.
"There's a magician meet-up at the local Caramel Cafe location, and they asked us if we could be there tonight!" he told her.
"I said we could make it there." he added, before looking to the calendar, and seeing it was marked with red.
"Oh, crap! I forgot about that church meetup you have!" he said, facepalming.

| When Jaden called out about the meetup, the one that he wanted to go to, Desiree stepped back out to the den. Just in time to hear him comment on how he'd forgotten about her plans.
"Don't worry about it. I can skip it tonight." She said with a smile.
"What time is the meetup?" she asked
