| "Ah, I see." he replied.
"Well, here's hoping that I can still make their day a nice one." he added cheerily, though she could sense some nervousness in his tone.
"I just hope they'll respect me..." he said quietly.

| "Oh I"m willing to bet that they will." Nakia said with a smile as they reached the daycare area.
"Ok, so you know how to get here, probably better than anyone else does at the moment." She said with a small chuckle.
"Come on, I'll show you where the kitchen is. It's really easy." She told him as she led him down the hall, and a couple turns. It wasn't hard at all to get there.
"It's small, but it has what is needed." She said as she opened the door and let him walk in to look around or what have you.

| He walked into the room, and looked around at it. It was a basic kitchen area, with a fridge, a stove/oven combo, and a decent amount of cupboards.
He inspected each appliance and drawer and such, before returning to Nakia.
"Seems like everything's here." he told her.
"Stuff to make sandwiches, cookies, slightly more involved meals..." he continued.
"Is there a specific grocery day for food for the kids?" he then asked.
"I ask, merely because there seems to be a shortage of juice boxes."

| "isis usually runs out and picks stuff up every couple of days." Nakia told him honestly.
"Either her or Mikayla, since they are the two that usually know when things are needed."

| "Gotcha." he replied.
"Well... guess it's time to go see who's here." he added, as they made their way to where the kids were.
When they entered, they saw 3 children, one male, named Daniel, and two females, named Sara and Tara, along with one of the attendants, named Basil.
"Hey everyone." Leo said.
"Hey! Leo!" Daniel exclaimed as he looked to him with bright eyes.

| The two girls looked up while one, Sara, waved and Tara made her way over.
"Leo!" Tara exclaimed as she hugged him, as best she could considering she was only six.

| He smiled and returned the hug, before going over to the other two, as Basil made his way over to Nakia.
"So, Leo's gonna be working here, huh?" he asked.
"Well, an extra pair of hands here should really help lighten the load." he added, relief in his tone.

| "Sorry it took so long, Basil." Nakia said, her voice sincere.
"But yes, Leo will be helping out. It's on a volunteer basis for the moment, to finish off his highschool hours." She told him.

| "So he'll only be here for certain hours?" he asked.
"Any time I'm scheduled, and all my free time!" Leo corrected.
"I love it here, so I'll volunteer as much time as I can!"

| "Judging by that, he's pretty much just given me permission to overwork his ass unless he's in school, or has a bit assignment or what have you." Nakia said with a small chuckle.
"Either way, thought you might like to know that there's going to be someone new here. Well, new in the sense of working."

| Basil chuckled as well, and nodded.
"Sure thing." he said with smile, as he looked to Leo playing with the kids.
"And something tells me that he's going to get along with the children just fine." he added.

"He's only been here daily since he was three, after all. Pretty much everyone here knows him."

"I hate to see him living like that, alone. I don't think it's right for any child."
