| Vincent looked to the people that were with Casey, and sighed.
"I assume you are referring to this young lady here?" he asked.
He then walked forward and and handed the book to her.
"You left this behind." he told her.

| Casey reached for the book, but one of the attendants by her snagged instead.
"She is not permitted to bring anything with her." He told Vincent simply as he set it down on the desk in the room.

| He looked to the man and crossed his arms.
"So she will be taken to a mental health facility?" he asked.
"And what, exactly, will that entail?" he asked further.

| "Evaluation of her mental state." He told him honestly.
"And possible permanent admittance." He added.
What!? NO! Please... dear lord... if you can hear me... please... please.... Casey begged mentally, but maintained an almost cold appearance. She didn't want to have her emotions show, and she certainly wasn't about to open her mouth, since she would probably seal her fate more if she did.

| He raised an eyebrow slightly, as he heard her mentally cry out in panic.
He made sure, though, to not let on that he heard her, and nodded.
"Fair enough." he replied.
"Now... will she be allowed visitors?" he asked.

| "Not for the first couple of days. The doctors will wish for no intereference from an outside source." He said.
[i]No... nono... please... just... I'm not crazy! I'm not! I never have been![i]Casey cried out mentally.

| He looked to her, and sighed to himself.
"Fair enough." he replied, before deciding to reveal his telepathy to Casey.
'I know you're not crazy.' he said to her mentally.
'If you're crazy, then your mother was as well, and that would mean I also am.' he continued.
'Please do not be alarmed, it's just me, Mr. Remmington.' he added.

| Casey paled, lost as to what to do, or say... she was lost, and frozen in place for the moment. she had to avoid reacting, solely because of the fact that she knew that if she did, she would be locked up quicker.
"Come on then." One of the two that were with her said. Casey was silent before nodding. He then lead her out of the office.

| He watched her go, before heaving a heavy breath.
"...." he was silent, as he left the office, shutting the door behind him.
"I'm going to visit her." he told himself.
"She needs to see that she's not crazy, and she's not alone."

| "Best of luck with that." Kalin said from where she was leaning against the wall across from the door.
"They won't even let me go see her. Why would they allow you?" She asked as she pushed herself off of the wall.
"Regardless, she is crazy, has to be. Why else would she consistently talk to those that only she can see?"

"You've never considered the possibility that there's more to this world that what we can see?" he asked further.

| "Tch." Kalin said, her voice ratherdark.
"If there was anything else, my fucking mother would have been saved from death." She snarled.

| She would then notice a definite and potent sting of pain in his expression when she mentioned her mother dying.
"...I... can see where you would think that..." he said to her.
"Madison didn't deserve what happened to her..." he added quietly, looking away.

| "Casey has the woman's journals. If there was honestly something more to this world, she would have been spared." Was all Kalin said, and rather darkly, before she turned and started walking off.

| He watched her go, before sighing.
"It's not anything in the beyond that deserves your blame." he said quietly.
"If anything... it's me..." he added, before walking slowly in the opposite direction.
-A couple of days later-
He sighed as he entered the facility where they were keeping Casey.
"Well... here goes nothing..." he said, as he made his way to reception.
"Excuse me, I'm here to see miss Casey Kiczys." he said to the woman.
"My name is Vincent Remmington, I'm a teacher of hers."
