| Well, I feel like I've heard of it somewhere, but I don't really play any video games...what's it about?

| It's a game from 2001, isometric view, RPG in a steam-punk world with races like those in the stories of J R R Tolkien. You can play either turn based or not and do several side quests more over the main quest and have the possibility of changing the plot depending on the actions and quests you do. So there are many possibilities and much to explore!
In the beginning you create your character (race, gender, stats and speciality) and through out the game you can chose either to embrace technology or magick, or try to stay inbetween (but beeing a fence walker won't give you the possibility to create the automaton or mechanized rifle and other cool stuff).
Well, shortly, that's about it.

| This does sound really interesting. I've never heard of it, but now I'm going to have to look it up. I love steam-punk and fantasy races so this is right up my ally.

| Nice! Well, me being definitely more of a sci-fi guy, I played often as an engineer. But I did play as a necromancer once, though! The spell in which you can summon the spirit of the person you just killed to talk to him gives an extra fun dimension to the game... it even gives you access to some quests or a twist to them. Kind of when you're a druid in other games, like Neverwinter Nights, and you can talk to animals... but more malignant, hehe.
