| The intention here is to check the political views of you guys if there are any. I've made the options as generalized as possible, since there are a lot of sub-divisions and so on. I guess that if you reckon yourself to be a communist, you should vote for "Far-left", and if you are a socialist, "Leftist". Kind of like that. Anyways, here we go!
"Other" is for you who chose to make a "blank vote", or have other views or just is "non-political", you just don't care.

| I voted centralist/green.. technically i lean to the left slightly, but what can I say, i'm a typical Libra - so central makes perfect sense in that regard XD
I also support the Green Party (UK if anyones wondering), so :P
I am quite curious to see how others answer :3 what about you, Elrakis?

| I supported the anarcho-syndicalists (makes me think of Monty Python's Holy Grail) when I was younger, but I grew more cynical and misantropic with time. I would've voted for "Anarchist" if it wasn't because of that I don't trust humanity anymore. So my vote is "Other", also because I no longer care about politics. (What a paradox that I created this poll then, I guess, haha!)
I'm glad you shared an explanation, ecco! It adds to the poll. As I said... politics are more specific than just "left" or "right".

| I'm glad that you provided other options besides "left" and "right" - although I'm politically inept so it still doesn't do much for me. xD Politics are too vast and complicated for me. I have political views, of course, but there are so many undertones to every little thing you say; and I can't keep up. So, I usually just stick with "other" and keep my opinions to myself.
Besides, if you were to label my political views on varying things, that label would change with nearly every issue. I don't usually stick to one side or the other, for whatever reason. Can't commit. :P

| Well, you made the right choice then, Chu! "Other" is for those who are all over the place, haha. Welcome to my group.

| I'm probably going to end up in the 'other' category. I'm registered as a nonpartisan were I live mainly because I don't care for any of the political parties, their politicians, nor their difficult as heck to figure out tactics. That, and I'm horribly inept at getting through all that political babble that makes up ... well anything that gets put out there.

| Well, you've got a great point there, Tsemara. I mean, these major parties often have an opinion or two that you might share, or they might have an agenda that you find good. Who doesn't want better health care, or more jobs, or better education? Thing is, why vote for a party that you only agree with a fraction with, or just partially, or even just 99%? In any case, the promise a lot and do too little, allways a dissapointing bussiness. Like Amebix' song: "Progress?".

| also the real problem i have is with the amount of BS that comes out of party leaders' mouths.
for example, in the last national elections I voted for the Liberal Democrats - I now hate them with a passion. They promised to vote against anyything that threatened to raise students' tuition fees, and if they won, they said they would get rid of them altogether. I believe education is the way for a country to gain real success for the future, so I obviously liked the sound of this.
Then, the Conservatives "won" but not by enough. So they teamed up with the Lib Dems to run the country - and ever since, the lib dems have been kissing ass and gone back against everything they said they stood for. Student tuition fees have now tripled.
and though I say I support the green party... it's kind of hard when you live in a conservative dominated area. There isn't even a green MP candidate in my town on the ballot papers for local elections *sulks* God I hate this country sometimes.

| So Ecco, what is the main reason that you vote? Guess people have many different intentions/motivations.
There's a good reason to why the jamaican-english (or at least amongst rastafarians) word for "politics" is "poly-tricks"...

| To put it simply... because I strongly believe we should use the bit of influence we are given. Even if it can seem pointless sometimes.. I believe that if you can vote but you choose not to, then you have no right to complain about the government.
I usually vote for whichever party (or local candidate) i can "get behind" the most. Or, the least evil seeming option, anyway
soooo... it WAS lib dems, until they showed themselves for the backstabbing, brown-nosing, traitorous, sell-out cowards that they really are.
so, on my last local election which was about a month ago, i voted Labour. I'm not a big fan of them but I hate the Tories (conservative party) with a passion, and the only other options were lib dem (so LOLNOPE) and UKIP, which... just... no. haha.

| I've listened to much british punk music, so I know about the tories and the BNP, and so on. "Maggies boys don't give a sh*t, if you ain't a tory your face won't fit. You can't get nothing for your pound, these days you have to shop around. They're a bunch of stuck up snobs, they think kids are mindless jobs, put we'll stop 'em in the end, and then they'll find out who are their friends..." etc. The music haven't left a very good impression of those parties, I tell you.
Would a blank vote give you the right to complain about the government?

| I think you should do whatever makes sence to you and what you feel is right in your heart. : p
If you want to kill your unborn whatever you want to call it, thats what you want to do. I don't like it, but thats not my life and its not my chose.
If you want to be gay and have hot, wild sex with your partner, go right head (Video plz? ) I have no problem with it. Sex is sex, marriage is marriage regardless of age, gender and race.
You want to trample the rights and freedoms of the american people? Fuck off. Gay is a word, not an illness so get off the high horse and practiced the tolerance you preach.
