| chocobo - I understand that. I have to eat something solid before I drink anything, else my stomach hurts.
Elr - I'm signing up for couchsurfing.org right now.

| I wish you the best of luck, Neo. When I was in Jerusalem I met two german pediatricians, two young fellows, who were staying on the same hostel as me. They said: "We will go Bethlehem tomorrow. We're going to stay with a man there which we found on couchsurfing..." So they went, and came back to the same hostel which I stayed on the following day. I asked them about the visit in Bethlehem, and they said: "The man which we stayed at gave us some drugged tea in the evening, and he came into our room in the middle of the night, behaving strangely. We can't really remember, but we were going to post a warning on couchsurfing but when we logged on to the site, he had removed his account". Well, I guess there are strange people everywhere.
I had yoghurt this morning with walnuts ad honey. The whole process of breaking the nuts made it all taste better.

| Mmm... yogurt with walnuts and honey sounds good, but I haven't dared to try yogurt since I became lactose intolerant.
The drug thing sounds strange, but most people aren't like that.

| You people. :U
I do like breakfast. I usually get cereal though, but I like toast too.
My ideal breakfast is either french toast, or a bacon/egg/and cheese sammich on kaiser roll. YUM
or both, but then I'd feel fat
my least favorite time of day is either dinner or lunch.
Lunch is supposed to be noon for me, but it always comes earlier...like brunch. Bleh.
Then, dinner is always too early. Now it's like 5...I prefer around 7 or 8.
I like space between my meals, but my family, or my friends, always get hungry so damned soon. :I
What do they have in common? No breakfast!
That's my view on breakfast is it sets the pace for your hunger/biological clock.

| I agree with that view on breakfast to an extent. If you work out intensively, though, then that's not true. I eat cereal and milk that put my calorie count for breakfast over 200. I'm usually hungry by mid morning, but I just have something light like a banana until lunch time. Lunch for me is around 11:00 am, but that's because my son takes his nap at 12:00 so I have to make sure he eats before that. Then I may have a mid afternoon snack of some description (nuts, fruits, baby carrots, or maybe a small piece of cheese)). Then dinner is around 5:30ish. We don't generally eat after dinner though unless we are really low on our calorie count for the day.

| Ah, I'm not one for calorie counts you see. It's a hunger thing. If I had too many calories though, usually I can feel it, and when I do, I try to ween for the remainder of the day and try to be healthier.

| That's fair. I don't like that I have to do it. If I'm going to lose the weight that I need to, though, then I have little choice.

| Are you well? I mean is this an intervention you need to lose weight? Or just something you'd rather do, that isn't quite so detrimental?
I don't really know your circumstances enough to put my 2 cents in regarding calorie counts. For most people I know, they count them so meticulously despite not really needing it. Especially if they just exercised a little, that'd be easier then counting everything.

| I have an extremely slow metabolism. So if I were to eat the recommended 2000 daily calories a day, even while exercising intensely ((I do a mixture of P90X and Pump if you know what they are)) I would still gain weight. I have to take in around 1300 to lose even an ounce of weight.
Before I had my son I didn't have to worry about it so much. Pregnancy does change a lot of things though. It's not the same for every woman but, for me, it slowed down a metabolism that wasn't that fast to begin with.

| Oh wow, that's something.
If only they made really awesome filling stuff, with no calories.
Like a no calories cheeseburger.
Good luck in your weight management, and sorry if it's a burden on you.

| Thank you. It's okay, I've gotten used to it. Now that I know how many calories I need and what have you I should be able to loose the weight easily enough. I've lost a little more then 5 pounds so I'm happy about that. I have roughly 45 to go to be at a good weight for my height.

| Ah okay. Good luck with the rest of that! I myself have a high metabolism, coupled with lack of intestines.

| Ah sorry, lack meaning less than, not absence. XD
I have Crohn's, and had a foot and a half of my bowel's removed.
Poo is okay, but never quite as solid as it used to be.
