| Ah, he and my mother have been separated since I was about one, so it's not that. It's just another woman he's been with for a few years. There had been loads of problems, and everything just got really messy (especially since they decided to adopt a child despite their problems), and there was just loads of mounting tension. Well, there's still a lot of mess, especially considering my little brother, and dad was feeling really down in the dumps, but he's feeling better now. Found someone to comfort him (something I was never good at, haha). But he asks really awkward questions, like, 'How do you feel when we're hugging and kissing and such?' 'Do you feel weird because you're not used to it, because it's very soon after I broke up with _____?' Stuff like that, and I've no idea what to say.

 People say that "love sucks" and sing "love hurts" and all that, but there's nothing wrong with love. It's the people in the love-thingy that mess it up. Love if flawless, immaculate, the perfect emotion, the pinnacle of consciousness... yet we seem to mess it up, one way or another.
