Username: Thelogicalsong
Name: Zanril Wolfsbane
Age: 20
Sex: Male
Build: Athltic
Weight: 210 lbs.
Eyes: Green
Handedness: Right handed
Skin: Tanned
Hair: Black, short cropped
Height: 6'2
Description: Bit of a charmer, happy-go-lucky kind of guy who is really more serious than he lets on. Sticks to the shadows, and tries to not be noticed all the time. Helps with his profession.

-How were you born and raised?
Being a child of a nomadic tribe, he has seen much of the continent and taken many lessons with him in his travels, even as a young boy. When he was 8, his father started using him as bait for shills, and started learning the finer points of being a thief then.

After 12 years of practice, learning, being caught and escaping, he's fairly good at what he does, being sneaky, and generally making himself rich bit by bit. He continues to travel the lands, generating more connections and just having fun.

-How did you learn/train in your class?
Traveling to different cities with his family during his life, he learned from his father and the master thieves that his father knew. His mother wanted him to learn a real trade, but he proved to be very efficient at what he did.

Having learned the finer points of pickpocketing, he'll be many coins richer by the time he gets out of a crowd.

-What are your strengths? What do you excel at doing?
Strengths are sneaking, stealing, thieving, pickpocketing, and more recently, stealthy kills.

With his father retired and settled down, Zanril has inherited his fathers contacts, fences, and mission brokers. He'll still send nice things to his family from time to time, to let them know he still remembers them and thinks about them.

Name: Joana
Age: 17
Sex: Female
Build: Toned
Weight: 165 lbs.
Eyes: Blue
Handedness: Right handed
Skin: Pale
Hair: Brownish Black, shoulder length
Height: 5' 10"
Description: A strong-willed girl who enjoys making her presence known. Very opinionated, she doesn't mind telling off the people she disagrees with.

-How were you born and raised?
She was raised in a large City in the Southern lands and comes from a well off middle class family, never really experiencing any hardships due to this. More than likely her personality is the result of her surroundings, as living in such a vast City made it very easy to fade into obscurity, unless you made yourself stand out.
Growing bored of monotonous City life, she has decided to head out on her own and travel North. She has many things to learn, but over the next few years she hopes to discover her path and start a new life.

-How did you learn/train in your class?
She is a nomad currently, not really knowing any trade or affiliating herself with a class. Her skills lie with her agility and profiecieny with close quarters combat, due to the constricted and dangerous nature of where she grew up.

-What are your personal goals and desires?
She hopes to find a new life away from the big Cities, as well as to learn new skills and trades.

-What are your strengths? What do you excel at doing?
Her strength is her personality. She doesn't back down to anything, and often times comes off too harshly to those who don't know her very well. But she also has a very strong sense of justice and loyalty, valuing her friends and family above all; And would do anything for them.

Username: Malverne
Name: Trin
Age: 21
Sex: Female
Build: Swimmer's build
Weight: 103 lbs
Eyes: Amber
Handedness: Ambidextrous
Skin: Chocolate
Hair: Black, thin braids held back behind her head
Height: 5'3"
Description: Trin can be quiet and polite, but much prefers being able to speak her mind. It's just more fun like that. She doesn't like having to stay still, or cooped up. She's a skilled liar, but she'll probably tell you the truth if she isn't lying for a specific purpose. Trin has a cutthroat attitude, sacrificing whoever is around her to achieve her goals, be it for herself or any friends she has made.

-How were you born and raised?
Trin's parents were wealthy and high society. She hated the manners and stiffness of that lifestyle, and ran away to a travelling circus before she turned twelve. There, she learned her various skills. She left the circus when she was eighteen, after the circus was threatened by a powerful politician because of something she did. Trin has been travelling around the country ever since, still earning a bad reputation that she really doesn't deserve.

-How did you learn/train in your class?
Trin was born with card shark skills, and learned everything else during her time at the circus.

-What are your strengths? What do you excel at doing?
Lying, acting, card games, magic tricks, fortune telling, and acrobatics.

Additional details: Trin is a card shark like you've never met. If you're smart...don't EVER gamble against her. However, she is NOT a pickpocket. She prefers to let you think you're not being stolen from.

Quote:
Username: Sly
Name: Dakarai Ekundayo
Age: 22
Sex: Male
Build: Small but trim
Weight: 175 lbs.
Eyes: Kind of foggy gray, obviously blind
Handedness: Left handed
Skin: Dark tan
Hair: Dark brown; worn in long braids
Height: 5’9
Description: Dakarai is pretty easy-going, in general. If ever caught in the midst of a dispute, he prefers to take a stance of neutrality whenever possible. He is kind and reserved, generally soft-spoken. While all this combined can make him seem like he would be a bit of a pushover, he is more strong-willed than he lets on; he just tends to be passionate about fairness and hearing all sides of a given situation before acting. As a rather gifted musician, people are always expecting Dakarai to strum them a tune on his guitar whenever he’s around; he is usually all too happy to oblige.

-How were you born and raised?
Dakarai was born in a small tribal village far away from where he now finds himself. His mother died during childbirth and as a prominent warrior, his father was often away from the village. This left Dakarai to be raised by the women and elders of the village. Dakarai lost his sight when he was a very young boy, due to sickness.
-How did you learn/train in your class?
Being blind and without any close relatives, Dakarai felt a bit lonely and isolated as a child. He began passing the long hours of the day wandering about the village, until one day he found himself in the company of the Music Man. The Music Man was a kindly old man and something like the bard of the village. He took pity on the young Dakarai and began teaching him the stories and ancient songs of the village, as well as how to play various instruments; Dakarai was a natural.
For a while, everything was going well for Dakarai; the Music Man had no successor of his own and it was naturally assumed that Dakarai would take his place when the time came. Then one day when Dakarai was 17, his father was bought back to the village mortally wounded from a battle; that night he confided in his son that he had always wished the two of them could have traveled to see the world beyond their small village together. By the next morning, Dakarai’s father was dead. After burying his father, Dakarai decided to honor his memory the best way that he knew how: by setting out to see the world. The Music Man gave Dakarai a finely crafted guitar as a parting gift, and he left without ever looking back. It was difficult to get to where he is now, and sometimes he still yearns for home; but he has vowed not to return until he has seen the whole world…or at least everything interesting.

-What are your strengths? What do you excel at doing?
Dakarai’s strengths are: he is calm and collected, a good judge of situations, and intelligent. He is a skilled musician and people generally find him friendly and easy to talk to. Also, although he is small and chooses not to fight, he is in good shape and can more than hold his own in physical confrontations if he must. He also has a pretty stellar sense of smell and hearing, probably due to his lacking eyesight.

Username: neomattlac
Character Name: Ogre Bear (Originally, Harold Landor)
Age: 23
Sex: Yes, please!
Height: 6' 10"
Build: Bulky(Gut, but obviously strong)
Weight: 350lbs
Eyes: Blue and green
Handedness: Right handed
Skin: Dirty, callused hands, tanned skin, scars visibly on arms.
Hair: Brown, short cut, rugged, somewhat dirty hair. Bushy, oddly, red beard.
Description: Built like a bear, and keeps to himself. If in a fight, he'll typically take a lot of hits, but dish out only a few, slow, but hard, hits. He's been known to walk right through obstacles instead of avoiding them. On more than one occasional, he's been known to be hurt and not realize it until it was pointed out. Despite his rough exterior, he reads a map well, and knows quite a few tidbits of knowledge. Most of his pack is full of books, and cooking equipment, his two passions.

-How were you born and raised?
He was raised in a lower middle class family, with a few other brothers. He never struggled for money, but never felt quite right standing still, always wanting a job. Often, as a child, he was ridiculed for his size and quiet temperament, being called "Bear" or "Ogre." This serves only to make him even more quiet. The nicknames stuck throughout his life and now, still, is called "The Ogre Bear," or just "Bear."

-How did you learn/train in your class?
When he was younger, Harold wanted to cook. So, he worked as a baker for a short time. One day, however, an innkeeper took Harold with him to go hunting. It was soon found that Harold was much better as a hunter than he was as a cook. He still continued to cook for himself and his family, however hunting is his main profession. Due to his large size, he has also taken jobs in construction, demolition, and, briefly, as a bodyguard.

-What are your strengths? What do you excel at doing?
He is extremely proficient in hunting, cleaning, and cooking meat. He has recently began to teach himself a new style of fighting where he targets weak points, which he has learned of through his years of butchering. He can read a map extremely well, despite often confusing left and right, more as a semantic error than an error of reading the map. He has very hard skin and can take a lot of damage before feeling any pain.

Username: KoyiTar
Name: Lucy (The name given to her by the people that found her. It was originally Lucky but she decided to start going by Lucy that way she didn’t sound like some pet of some sort)
Age: Unknown to her but she appears to be in her middle to late 20’s
Sex: Female
Build: Curvy with a bit of muscle
Weight: 156lbs
Eyes: Hazel
Handedness: Right handed
Skin: Slightly tanned, A few scars on her arms, large scar across her face from her forehead across the right side of her nose and ending on her left cheek
Hair: Long brunette hair kept in a braid.
Height: 5' 6"
Description: Quite, and somewhat shy, doesn’t like to fight but can handle herself if she has to be in one.

-How were you born and raised?
Lucy knows nothing of how she was raised up until now. In fact she can’t remember anything from before two years ago. When she woke up in a farmers hut being tended to by the farmer’s wife and two young children, saying she was lucky to be amongst the living. Not knowing who she was or what had really happened to her she lived with them adopting the name Lucky until recently when she shortened it to Lucy, because a passer through joked that her name sounded more like a dogs or horses.

-How did you learn/train in your class?
About a year ago Lucy learned that buried deep somewhere in her mind she had the ability to heal. This came about on evening when the farmer’s wife burned her arm rather severally while cooking dinner. Amazingly Lucy was able to heal it rather quickly. She had surprised the farmer and herself with her ability.

-What are your personal goals and desires? Curious about her renewed ability to heal on a fairly proficient scale Lucy set out from her adoptive home of a year and half to search for: Who she really was, if she still had a family that was looking for her, what her purpose had been for being a healer, and most importantly though what had happened to cause her to lose her memory and have such a scar in the first place.

-What are your strengths? What do you excel at doing?
At the moment the only strengths Lucy knows of is her healing ability. She is also pretty good at fighting off people if needs be with a staff she picked up along the way in her travels.

Username: Klink
Name: Lukys Cale
Age: 24
Sex: Male
Apperance: Standing about six feet tall, Lukys has eyes as dark as the hair that often falls into them. His hair is not long, but people occasionally poke fun at its shaggy appearance. The lightly suntanned skin on his hands and arms are pigmented with many cuts and burns from the potions he creates, or attempts to create. The clothes he wears to cover his lean muscular build are rather plain, seeing as neither he nor his family have the money to pay for anything extravagant.

Description: Although speaking and interacting with others has always come somewhat naturally to Lukys, he still prefers to keep to himself. He was never one for conveying his feelings and emotions. Lukys spends a lot of his time working to keep the family apothecary business on the map in a Northern city, although when he does have free time he likes to create potions from scratch, including experimenting with poisons.

-How were you born and raised?
His father had always ran a trusted apothecary, but shortly after Lukys turned 20 his father was executed for practicing magic. Nobody in the family knew anything about it, not even Lukys, and that was what planted the seed of his hate for the nobles of the city they lived in. Luckily, the city let Lukys continue the apothecary business, knowing that no one else was as well trained as him. Shortly after his father's passing, his sisters married young and left the house. His mother, driven into depression, left to live with his eldest sister.

-How did you learn/train in your class?
Lukys' father had taught him everything he knew about healing potions and herbs, although Lukys taught himself to throw daggers during his long trips of gathering plants in the nearby woodland and forests.

-What are your strengths? What do you excel at doing?
Even though Lukys is not very good at expressing his own feelings, he is excellent at reading people.

The village was small and quiet, with most of it's residence having retired for the night. The young girl was surprised by this, for being accustomed to that of a large city she was use to people being out at all times. Her surprise soon grew to worry however, when she realized the sun had already set and that she still had no place to stay.

The girl had been traveling to a City up North when she got lost, wandering for several days before happening upon the small village. Frantically she searched for someone to provide shelter; a haven away from the freezing snow and darkness.

"Pathetic. Just fuckin' pathetic."

She scolded herself, ashamed at her lack of independence. She couldn't even last a week from the city on her own, forced to ask for help in a place like this. She was going to have to rely on someone else, at least for now...

Nighttime had fallen, much to Zanrils pleasure. He always felt he worked better in the dark.

Of course he did, what was he saying?

Especially on nights like this, where he had forgotten his coinpurse at the last place he had been that was a safe haven for him, and was now being forced to break and enter.

Luckily, there was a fence nearby who would be able to give him money for the things he was about to steal, no questions asked.

"A quick pop of the lock, aaannnd... We're in." He said under his breath, letting out a small smile. Time to be quick, lord knows how light of sleepers these particular folk were.

After a few cursory glances around the main room, he immediately grabbed all of value (including a silver candlestick, very ornate. SCORE!) and slipped out the way he came.

A short time and a brief talk later, he was walking towards an inn with a new bag of coin and the hopes of a fresh, hot meal to soon be in his stomach. Up ahead he saw a young woman walking around, cold, shivering, and looking like she had nowhere to go.

"Oy, what are you doing out at this time of night with no protection, lass?" He asked, walking up to her.

Startled by the sudden voice echoing through the night, the young girl stepped back, her body instinctively taking a defensive posture.

"No protection you say?" She snapped, obviously offended by the mans words. She slides her hand down and pulls out a small knofe, brandishing the weapon mockingly.

"I'll have you know..." she scowled, eyeing the man sternly
"I am definitely not lacking in protection"

She's a little abrasive there, isn't she? He wondered to himself, giving the knife in her hands a raised eyebrow.

"It's clear you've got that kind of protection, what I meant was you don't seem to have a cloak or a fur to keep you warm. You're looking a little blue there." He said, motioning to his cloak and then at her.

He eyed her for a second, thinking. "Well, you need to warm up, I would like a friend to eat with, even if they don't talk. You can continue wandering the streets, or you can meet me in the tavern part of the inn just up the way. I know I need to get some drink and food in me. It's a bit too chilly tonight."

With that, he walked past her, down the road a bit and went into the inn.

A nice hearty fire was roaring in the fireplace, and the innkeeper smiled upon his entry. "What c'n I getcher?" The old man asked.

"I'll have two pints of your best brew, some bread, cheese, and meat. I'll also need a room." Zanril responded, dropping some coins on the counter.

"Rit away, lad. Rit away. We've only g't pork t'night, problem?"

"Not at all, sounds delicious. Hot and roasted, yeah?"

"Yessum."

"Good, I'll be sitting by the fire." He smiled and took a seat at a table close to the hearth, enjoying the warmth. He'd been colder places, but damn, tonight was too cold for his liking.

Growing up in the city, her brazen display was a necessity against the low lives that prowled around at night. Realizing the man meant no threat however, she eased up slightly, but kept a firm grip on her blade.

She looked over the man with a pleading gaze, obviously freezing; her light city clothes offering little protection against the unyielding winter night.
Joana, feeling pretty defeated at this point, decided to swallow her pride and take the man up on his offer.
She watched as he entered the inn, hesitantly following suit.

She peered in, spotting him near the fire, the warmth from the inn rushing over her.

"Good evening' to ya miss, anythin' I can do fer ya?" the innkeeper bellowed, obviously busy preparing something.

Joana shook her head, blatantly stating "I'm here with him."
Turning to face the man seated near the fire. She eyed him closely before heading over to take a seat.

"The names Joana."

"Glad you decided to join me, Joana!" He smiled, letting out a guffaw.

"Names Zanril. Folks tend to call me Zan, or my last name. Which if Wolfsbane. So I'm Zanril Wolfsbane. And I'm glad you decided to come join me, I'm not sure you'd have survived having to spend the night in the cold."

He smiled and thanked the old innkeeper when he brought out the drinks and food, as well as two plates.

"Help yourself, I got enough for the two of us." He said, pulling some of the steaming pork onto his plate along with some bread and cheese, starting to make a sandwich.

"But tell me," he said after a swig of the brew that had been brought. "What is a city girl like you doing this far north, without any guards and proper clothing to fight off the harshness of the cold here?"

Joana smirked, before leaning forward towards the food laid before her. She grabbed some of everything, tossing it onto her plate.
"Well" she started, before taking bite of pork..
"y'see, I wafeadin' towar afity' ufp 'n the norf" she paused to finish off the food in her mouth, before continuing.
"and I reckoned I could make it there in half the time, figuring I didn't weigh myself down with equipment that is."
She rolled her eyes, letting out an annoyed sigh.
"But about halfway through the trip i got caught up in a mighty feirce snowstorm and lost my way... Wandered around for a few days before happenin' upon this place. I'm sure I woulda made it out just fine, but..." She trailed off, her eyes heavy as she looked down at her plate.

She caught herself, letting out a sharp "Well."
Looking up towards the man, her eyes were intent on the stranger.
"what're you doing here by any chance, Zanril?" her voice still carrying the sharpness, but in a more curious tone.

"Business in a city up north, I've got some things to take care of up there. A few clients need some things done." He said, before chomping down on his sandwich.

"Gods, thish ish good." He managed to say between bites. He swallowed, took another drink and smiled at her.

"This town just happened to be on the way, and this little snowdrift you are talking about is the herald for a bigger storm that will prolly hit sometime tonight or tomorrow. In fact..." He turned around in his seat and looked for the old man, and saw him back at his little counter.

"OY! Old man, you think the storm'll hit us hard tonight or in the daylight hours tomorrow?"

Scratching his head, the old man walked outside, was gone a moment, and came back in. "Mor'n likely it'll hittus hard in the morn, mayhaps 'round noon."

"S'what I thought." Zanril said, looking back to Joanna. "You'd best stay here for the night, possibly two. Snowstorms in the north here are rough. Not even the most rugged natives try to brave them."

"I'm done for the night," one of the men said, "I wanna be able to pay for the drink I'll need to forget this."

"Yea, I'm done too," another man said. The rest of the table agreed, and Trin shrugged.

"Whatever you say. Lemme know if you wanna win this back any time tonight. I'll be leaving as soon as frickin' possible." Then Trin heard the old man working at the inn give his weather report and then heard the young man saying to his companion that they'd probably have to stay for at least a night.

"Shiiiiiiiit," she groaned, "You gotta be kiddin' me!" She leaned back on her chair so that her head poked into the conversation on which she was eavesdropping.

"You serious man?" Trin asked, "we might have to stay here for another two effing nights?! Tch, fantastic." It took a moment for Trin to realize that she was intruding.

"Oh, don't mind me folks," she said to the man and woman, "I'm just complaining. As always. I just been stuck here for too long already. You guys just get here?"

A business man eh...? She thought to herself, looking him over. He was obviously well off judging by the quality of the clothes he was wearing. Perhaps... "A city up north you say?" Her voice relaxed somewhat, as she took a drink before continuing.
"Well there's only one I would think significant enough for a Businessman such as yourself, 'n it just so happens that's where I'm headed."

But before she could continue to speak, the young woman from across the room started up in response to the innkeeper's report.
"'s fine." She said, glaring cautiously at the woman before continuing "And yah, just walked in a few moments ago."

She yawned and turned to the young man, stretching her arms over her head while leaning back.
"Seems I also managed to loose my satchel out in that snow drift, so everything I brought's been lost, 'cept what I have on me." She looked towards the fire with a look of disgust, obviously upset at herself for being so careless.

It was adorable, she had completely misconstrued what he had meant by businessman. Well, truth be told, it really was the only city worthwhile in most of the north when it came to stealing peoples belongings, so she was right there at least.

Zanril turned to the newcomer, "Aye, you'd not want to get caught in this snow, it's horrendous. Even if you survived the cold, there's things out there that are big, nasty, and wouldn't think twice to eat you. They love hunting during the snow-storms too."

"And I just blew in on the wind, at the right time it seems. Really it was a stroke of luck I made it to town before the storm." He said, filling his plate again and chowing down.

Looking back at Joana, he smiled. "Just so happens I have some extra coin on me tonight, take some, get some supplies when the storm dies down tomorrow, and get yourself a room tonight."

He smiled and laid some money down by her plate and motioned to the innkeeper for more booze.

Trin was bored. The happy feelings that had been caused by her impending departure from this boring-ass town had just been stomped on. No, Trin was now more bored than she'd been in a very long time, and that was bad. Mostly because not only was Trin bored, she was slightly drunk. So she had no impulse control.

Trin suddenly drained her glass, then grabbed two nearby empties, kicked her chair back, and started juggling. Every few seconds, she'd quickly grab another mostly empty glass, and throw it into the mix.

By the time she got to seven glasses, the point where she actually had to concentrate on the flying objects, people in the inn were taking notice. One older man was annoyed for some reason, and tried to trip Trin. He yanked one of her feet to the side, pulling Trin to the ground. Trin's acrobatic training took over, and she performed a neat backflip, landing back on her feet. None of the glasses broke.

"You got a problem, old man?!" Trin asked the man who tripped her. "I mean, you got money comin' out yer nose," Trin pulled a coin from the man's rather hairy nostril, "Ye'd think you could afford manners." The old man was flustered, but Trin was on a roll. Rather literally, actually. She rolled over the table, cackling slightly.

"You want me to tell your future, old man?" she asked him, pulling out her deck of tarot cards and flipping over the first one, "Ooh, not good. You'll be impaled on ten swords tomorrow morning, right after having diarrhea. Good luck with that." She gave him a wink, and cartwheeled across the room.

Fwoop-fwoop-fwoop-fwoop, and Trin landed perfectly in a chair by the fire, across from a girl and a man who appeared to be well off.

"How you two doin' today?" she asked, grinning like a maniac, "You want me to tell your future? How 'bout your girlfriend's?" She waved her deck of cards under the girl's nose, still grinning madly.
