...okay, before I rip my hair out trying to understand that...
I'm assuming you don't have younger siblings/family members in said car with you?

'Cuz I hate any sort of car ride of significant length for that reason and that reason alone. I have a 10 year old brother, a 14 year old brother and a 17 year old brother.

All they do is argue and try to start fights in the car. Which then causes my mom or dad or both to get pissed and yell. Which in turn makes them piss-y-er. Which then makes them argue more. Rinse, lather, repeat.

Then again, if I have the right headphones and a full-batteried iPod or CD player, all of that becomes a moot point, soo...yeah. >>;

The 9 hour trip wasn't SO bad... due to it only being me and one other person. We were talking and listening to music, mostly.

She had a lot to talk about, which I did not mind. Better than sitting in silence, imo.

waitwaitwait...9 HOURS?!! ASDJOSDIHGNFDGERG. (That's my flabbergasted noise, if you couldn't tell) If you're driving 9hours, why not take a plane, or a train, while eating green eggs and ham? And don't tell me you don't like green eggs and ham on a plane or a train, because those are some of the best places to have green eggs and ham.

's nuts. I've gone to visit schools for a day a large chunk of time away and taken the planes...but then again, I don't like the social obligation to talk in the car. I'd rather sit back and read, but when I'm in the car, it feels like I HAVE to talk...

It was for my bf's recital :3 Very good... but still.. *dies in 9 hour car ride* I barely got any sleep the night before... so I was completely dead when I got there... XD

That being said, every morning, every evening... oh god, I can't take these 1.5 hour/2hour train and bus rides any more =A=
