| Good evening, Midoreans (?). I'm new, just joined, but already took a look around. Hmm... this place looks...a little bit ancient... I saw quite a lot of threads that didn't have any replies from... last year October, I think.
Hmm... if anyone comes across this thread, and this post, I want to ask if this place gets any updates or is this...a bit... dead?

| Hello, Mir! May I call you "Mir?" It sounds quite a lot better than if I were to call you "Mistress," doesn't it? I shall call you whatever you please. xD; Anyway, as to your question: this place does have some inactive threads, but we're not quite as dead as you may think...well, some of us aren't. However, the community here is rather small, and somewhat slow-moving, as many of the members have school, work, and other real life obligations they must meet. It goes in cycles, really; sometimes there are heightened levels of activity (like during events or what have you) and other times there's a bit of a lull. Don't let the pacing and small ammount of active members scare you away though; this place is fantastic, if you just give it a chance. The community is very friendly and the avatars and items are lovely...don't you think so? Well, I'm sure you will think so if you stick around, at any rate. If you've any other questions, please feel free to ask; they'll be answered well and (whenever possible) promptly. Again, welcome to Midorea!~

| Thank You for the warm welcoming. And yes, of course You can call me Mir. Well, I'm not sure if I'll stick around here, but that doesn't have anything to do with amount of members or their activity nor anything. I guess I'm just...someone who doesn't stay long in one place. Also, the reason I came here, was... hmm let's say, a research or something like an investigation... of... err... avatar based community sites.
Everything seems pretty clear to me. Just starting out seems quite hard for me. By that I mean monster battles. Man, those beasties own me.

| Oooh an investigation, huh? :B Well, if you do decide to stay around (even for just awhile) we'll be sure to be good to you. I suppose the more you battle the more experience you'll get and the easier it'll become. I used to have an awful time battling when I was new here. Anyway, I hope you enjoy your time here, no matter how short-lived it may be. .gif)

| that would be because you chose the Panhandler class for your character XD i'd suggest restarting your character as either a fighter or a rogue. the battle system is a very good way to earn silver, though.
and this site is most definitely not dead yea, it can be slow at times, and certain sections of the forum are verrrrry on the quiet side... but others are pretty active it's like it says on the splash page, we're a small community and we can only become bigger and more active if new members actually stick around, you know?
anyway, i hope you like it here ^^ if you have any questions, just ask~

| Hmm. I see, thanks. Weird. Actually, I didn't like that character, but somehow this was the only class available and I wasn't able to go back. Maybe it has to do something with the tribe I picked... well I shall go and recreate it.

| odd... i'd guess it was to do with the combination of tribe, element and such.. just try different things til it lets you choose a fighter or rogue XD
alssoooo it's generally a good idea to re-roll your stats until they're all at least 15, except charm, as it's not used so it gets reduced to 0 after you submit it anyway. XD

| Oh well, I recreated it and I'm a fighter now, way easier to fight those things. Though my stats aren't very very good, I don't really care. It will do.

| haha yea, my advice is to start by using volleyballs as a weapon (super cheap and great duration) and then save up for a better weapon (tenro is my preferred weapon XD) and strength is generally the best stat to work on, along with constitution and dexterity.

| The site is far from dead, we're constantly working on updates and events for the site. Just a month ago we released a huge set of commons.
However, at times we do suffer from a lack of involvement from the users. Usually we get really active around events, but after they end the forums usually go quiet. (like what's happening right now)
Anyway, welcome to Midorea. I hope you decide to stay, for like the homepage say; We cannot grow unless the users actively participate in the forums. .gif)
