I mean, I know that it goes through your rectum/throat, but I just wonder if, because of the proximity and everything, the period would interfere.

No, it shouldn't interfere with it. You might feel more pain and cramps with it but its fine.
Though shes not a professional, as shes just a medical assistant, so don't take it for granted, cause she thinks you'll find her and sue her. *rolls eyes* :P

Well at times. Its usually normal cramps for me though. I brave through it like a man. xD I don't take any pills for it. I don't like taking pills in general so yeah.
I want chocolate now though. :/
