My Adoption Poem

So, I took off from school today because Im really tired. Well, now I am really bored and want to write a poem off the top of my head. So.. here it goes

My Adoption Promise

Im not of your flesh,
nor bone of your bone,
but still miraculously I am your own;
I'll never forget for a minute,
that I didn't grow under your heart
but in it.

I love you Mommy!

so.. yup. Now you all know that I am adopted =]

Any critisim, hit me hard if need be, I'll take both pushy and light.

Seriously, really beautiful! I can not say I can relate, but I have always thought that it is not necessary that one should have biological
parents to feel exactly the same belonging and love. Now, I might be just stating the obvious, but this type of family always gives me the impression of being so much stronger and more interesting than most And that is what i think your poem is reflecting as well!

the only critique I have is the word "miraculously" - it doesn't feel like it fits, to me, it seems to make that line too long. But hey, thats just me
