So, I have recently finished about 80% of all my college applications that I'm submitting. All I have to do that's left is finish writing out some short answer questions, one essay, and a 10-20 piece art portfolio. I don't have to finish it until February, but I still would like to get it all done before the end of December, just so that I don't have to worry about them anymore! XP

But, I've just been so darn lazy lately, I just don't feel like doing them anymore! D= Don't worry, I'll get it done, though. xD I kind of have to. X_x

Anyway, if you're a senior in high school, are just in the process of going back to college, or have already done away with college and the applications, what's YOUR in take on them? O_o

For those of you who have never done a college application before, and/or have no intention of doing so, feel free to discuss anything you've gained from this topic...

I'm a sophomore and my school is, of course, having me look at colleges. I feel a bit stuck though because even though I truly do want to work in the psychological or human sciences fields, I don't know if I have the dedication to stick with it. I'm not really a person of consistence.

Anyway, I've gotten a ton of letters from colleges already and quite frankly I'm looking forward to senior year when I actually begin to fill out applications. I intend to stay in Kentucky though, in order to not be disowned by my family. :/ They're more than set on me staying close.

I'm a freshman in college and I've never really had to stress out over applications. Mainly because I just planned on going to the state college and where I live they'll accept you just because they want more people to actually go to college. So I never had to worry too much about the whole application problem or writing essays or any of that stuff. I did figure out I didn't have to take english 101 after the fact I was already in it so that kinda sucked. But other than that college is easier than I expected. So don't stress out too much over it.

I am a fifth year senior at college (didn't declare until sophomore year, and then had to take classes in order.)
I got accepted to every place I applied, but I was also only applying to schools that took my first ACT score, which was way lower than my second :/ I also only applied to liberal arts schools... but thats what I wanted. ^.^
If I had known I wanted to do graphic design, I probably would have applied to art schools and tech schools as well.

      LINKY!!! <3333

      XD Now on topic:

So, I haven't applied to my colleges yet, but I already know what to do and whatnot..and it all seems so easy right now! Maybe cause the guidance counsellors basically told us what to do already, and it's all set for us to apply and whatnot.
But I'm like psyched to apply! I really hope I get in my top school choice! So I like seriously need to work on my English course more! X3

Applications were pretty easy for me, essays not so much. I had to do one portfolio, but even that was just for a high school class. I've always have had decent grades and kind teachers who give me recommendation letters, so I sent those EVERYWHERE and pretty much had my choice of culinary school, and I ended up going to a community college in Florida. XD Since I got there it changed to a normal college, and, now, a state college, all within six months.
