50 Book Challenge :: Do You Dare?

I finished reading Orlando! Now I'm on the second volume of Les Misérables. It'll take forever for me to read it though xD
So, the worst book I've ever read? I think I'll need some more time to find the answer. I try my best not to read lame books because the list of good books is huge and I can't afford to waste my time like that.

I started to read Harry Potter again XD

I would have done that as well if I had not just reread the whole series again right before I started the challenge. xD

I'd really love to do this challenge but I just can't! I don't have many books of my own (I wouldn't want to read children's books either) and I don't use a library. Although I could probably dig out enough of my dad's books, I'm pretty involved in an RP right now and I usually lock myself away for hours / days on end when reading new books or am enthusiastic about them. But good luck to everyone, keep up the reading!

I am a bit surprised by how quickly I read when I get this interested in a series.

Found out that one of my books was abridged. Read it anyway since I really can't replace it with the original and it was part of a series. Not sure if I should count it or not since it was very short.

abridged? What does that mean?

Its a shortened version. They basically take out all unnecessary information and leave you with the bare bones of the story.

Awww that's sad.
Unless it was twilight abridged or something like that xD
It is sad because most of the times you lose the style of the author.

smite- Oh, well I'd still want to read the whole version of a book though some books really do have a lot of unnecassary stuff or real boring parts. 8|

Ok, I just read Girl, Interrupted, that I borrowed from a friend of mine.
It is a very beautiful book on mental illnesses. I felt particularly touched cause I am clinically depressed, so every page was like 'will I end up crazy too?And what it is to be crazy? See things? Admit that you see differently?'
I liked a lot.
Now, back to Misérables!
