Browser loading battling especially slow?

Perhaps an odd topic, but could upgrading your browser change the performance in the battle arena? x3;;

About two weeks ago I upgraded my Mac from 10.4 to 10.6, which consequently upgraded my Safari version from 3 to 4. I haven't been on here consistently in some time but I definitely notice that I used to be able to load the battle actions/attacks quickly in Safari 3 and now it's taking longer in 4. D: Is this something to do with the upgrade or is it just the server/my internet/something else external?

i also sort of wondered this... the battle system has been really slow for me for a while now, not sure when the last time forefox updated was tho.

I don't know about what could be going on, but I run Firefox on Vista and it runs fine for me.

The site itself loads very quickly but the battling is still quite stubborn. D: I might try Firefox later but I'm not a big fan of Firefox. ^^;
