so this is a contest? From what I've read, it sounds like one. o.o

50% contest, 50% personal growth kinda thing.

The challenge is just a personal thing. Basically, you are challenging yourself to draw things you would not necessarily have chosen by yourself. And sharing it to get some feedbacks, or just for the fun of it. Doesn't give any prize, but it's mainly there to motivate people to draw and hopefully they will get better.

There is also a contest. Right now, it's drawing a magical girl character, following the description given in the second post. And, as for all contest, there is a prize related to it. Well, if someone enters anyway.

Nah, I'm good. Though I will contemplate joining the next contest if I can. The only reason I'm not right now is because of work and such =3

I used posemaniacs a lot; the little challenge thingy that they have so a lot of them are a bit like O.O what's that supposed to be? Mostly because I couldn't keep up with how quickly the pictures changed.

Yeah, I worked with that too, not recently though. I started at the lowest speed and decreased it when I was able to draw a complete figured in the requested time. Never passed 30 seconds though...

I should try it again some day

i've never tried the timed challenge, im very slow at drawing from observation so i know i couldnt do it XD i need to practice more... maybe then i'll get faster and be able to try that one out haha
