| So even though I'ma Canadian I'm still interested in the results of the US election cause of how however the US is run, it'll affect the rest of the world since its economy is so big. D:
Anyways, so discuss here who you think should be president, and who you want to be president. :3
Also, anyone note how either way whoever wins will set a new record for the US? Like if Barack Obama wins it means first black president, and if John McCain wins it means oldest guy to be president.
Still, whatever happened to Hilary Clinton and the possibility of having the first female president? :OO

| Chu is republican?? For real?? I wouldn't have thought that.
For me this race was all about the vice-president nominees. The harsh reality is that McCain probably would have died in office of skin cancer or just old age, and Obama will probably have at least on assasination attempt on him.
I'm sorry but anyone who thinks Sarah Palin was at all fit to lead this country looses a lot of respect in my eyes. That woman was embarassingly stupid. Biden wiped the floor with her in the VP debate, I was very very impressed with him. Until very recently I was a Poli Sci major, and I could go on and on, but I won't unless asked. XD
Anybody know if Prop 8 passed or not?

| *shrugs* Not much better up here in Canada. We just had a federal election on October 14, and even though I'm not old enough to vote, I still kinda wish that the new Prime Minister would be a mix of several party leaders. X3
But whatever, I think it'll be interesting to see how the Canadian Prime Minister and new American President work together. After all, party-wise, it's Republican and Democrat! XD;;

| I'm actually for Obama, so I was glad that he won. But that's just my views and personal opinion on it. Not really in the mood to debate or hear complaints directed towards me, as I've been sick of all the political drama I've had to put up with during this election. I'm glad it's finally OVER!
As for Prop 8, it passed in California. Which bans gays from marrying. Now that's a whole other topic I'd rather not go into either, as I'm not happy with the results.

| @Kalin: I'm actually not a republican. XD I just really, really don't agree with some of Obama's views and policies. And I can't help but feel that for some people, they only voted for him because of his skin color.
Then again, some people only voted against him for his skin color. >.>; People are so shallow.
In all honesty, there were two big factors pulling McCain down: Palin and his health. He would've been much better off without those factors, but the latter can't be helped. I don't know WHAT he was thinking with the former though.

| I do disagree with the whole "voting by color" situation with this election. But then again, you have to realize he's the first black man running for president. A lot of people were effected by it, hence their decision to vote for or against him. I don't like the idea of people deciding solemnly on his skin color. But I guess it was to be expected.

That's why. I won't talk about it further, cuz' I know a lot of people are mad at the election. D;
