Do you know the fibionacci sequence? Derivitives and integrals a piece of pi?

Can you find the equation for e^x?

O_O I can do the e^x and understand what "Derivitives and integrals a piece of pi..." means but beyond that, I am not that crazy... You gotta explain that fib. sequence to me...

1 1 2 3 5 8 13 21 34 55 89 144 233 337 610 .....

get the pattern yet? =P

also, since your so smart about integrals

∫(6(tan(x))^5*sec(x)^2)dx

oh and

dy/dx [e^(3*sin(2x))]

annnnnd

ln(e^e^x)

=P

I said I understood what it meant, not that I could apply it. And I always had a scientific calculator and my notes. And that was a bit ago.

anyways

1) the answer was tan(x)^6
2) 6sin(x) * e^(3sin(2x))
3) e^x

as for fibbonaci sequence, you add the new number with the number before it, starting at one


so 1+1 equals 2, 1+2=3,2+3=5, 3+5=8

so 1 1 2 3 5 8, and so on

If I had thought about it and had the patience, I would've figured it out eventually.
Th sequence was easy. I actually run it through my head all the time, but I didn't realize it had a name.
I'm more of an algebra guy, rather than calc. and trig...

oh, so your more of a

a^2-b^2= (a-b)(a+b)

(a+b)^2=a^2+2ab+b^2

y=mx+b, y+y1=m(x-x1), Ax+By=C

type of guy?

I hated geometry. So easy. Same with algebra. I felt like I already knew it all. Until the tests. Then I'll sort of blank out.(It had nothing to do with studying, or the lack thereof).

Oh, I know exactly what you mean. A vast majority of the content that my classes cover are... second-nature to me. Algebra was fun though; geometry is boring and mundane.

I blank out on ALL of my tests. I took a science test earlier this year and it asked for the three forces used in the creation of matter in stars and I picked something with friction in it. D: What the hell? Sometimes I wonder if someone replaces my tests with a dumb person's tests. >.>;
