| During the last week of school, my Sensei introduced a television series called I Survived a Japanese Game Show to the class. We watched the first episode and I forgot about it for a while, but since I’m sick in bed I decided to watch the entire season. xP Does anyone else know about it? If not you should at least check it out. It’s hilarious.

| After seeing real Japanese game shows this just proves what I kept saying over there. DANG this is funny can you imagine how good it would be on American TV?
I really need to see more of it cause of the few episodes I have watched I loved.

| XD The problem with us Americans on game shows is that we take them so seriously. Japanese people are just there to have fun and make people laugh, it seems.

| We FINALLY caught another episode. I don't know if my friends where more amused watching me or the show XP I liked too I could get a good about of the Japanese being used, but the fact that they kept most of the bilingual aspect to the show was great.

| Funny thing was I was trying to read the Kanji for the tittle, and using the readings Hon and Ki was super puzzled at why the show was called Honkide...till they said the tittle and it clicked it was the other reading.

| I actually didn't concentrate much on the Japanese aspect of the show. Usually I try to get the translations myself (even though I always fail, haha) but for that, it doesn't really cross my mind to try.
