So does anyone here read or watch Axis Powers Hetalia?

Or, does anyone even know what it is?

If so, come talk to me. I really need to fangirl over it, I think, and I'm having problems finding people who know what it is to talk about it.

LoL, I know what Hetalia is. I am way behind in the show... but I've read all of the comic, and I still love it well enough. XDD I am not nearly as into it as I used to be.
My all-time favorite characters are Poland and HRE. LoL, weird I know. After them I'm quite partial to Lithuania, Sweden, Prussia.... hmm lol, all the Asian countries. I can't really think of any characters I don't like...

My favorite is Lithuania, then Prussia, Russia. After that, I think Poland, Denmark, Austria and Hungary all tie. aha....

It's been so long since I was first introduced to it, I can't believe I'm fangirling over it so hard still.

LoL yeah I've seen the anime. I watched about 6 episodes like on the days they aired, lol.. then I lost my fan-fervor and forgot to watch them XD I like the comic much better.


Aaagh my favorite story arc is BY FAR Chibitalia. XDD Isn't that terrible? It's only because I read into it way too far. This video pretty much sums up why I love it so much. I enjoy things that break my heart in half

Other than that I can't really think of a continuous arc that I like... uhh maybe the Vday thing? But then again, HRE. LoL I love Germany <33 Hmmmm |:< I dunno. I read these ssooo long ago, lol. One of my favorite comics of all time is the Polish Joke one about the lightbulb. XD;; lmao.

I have a degree in history, and Hetalia has ruined my future :< I'm never going to be able to talk about history again.... and... I plan to be a history teacher XD how awful.

I've been to lazy to find the translated comics, but I love the fan art and the characters. :3

All my yaoi friends are damn near obsessed with it and prattle about it nonstop alll freaking day. I've finally gotten to the point where I've told them to STFU.

I've never seen it, and with all the gushing and fangirling and rabid foaming at the mouth over certain coupling, I've just kind stopped wanting to ever even read it. :<

@Aaya-Tan: Most pairing for the series bother me, Except Austria/Hungary, since they were canaonly married, Russia/Lithuania, because it's really obvious that Russia rapes him, and I can usually tolerate Poland/Lithuania and Hungary/Prussia. But other than that, any pairings bug the crap out of me. Gr.

My favorite characters are Germany, America, Austria, Prussia, Latvia, North Italy, the UK, and Turkey. Basically in that order. I also now have a thing for Estonia (who no one loves) just because when we are LARPing Russia and the Baltic States, that is who I am.

I love when you get Germany, Prussia, Austria, and Switzerland in one room. The Germanic countries make many lulz when you put them all together.

I also love a lot of pairings but not in the normal sense of the word. I love the situations and conversations you can get from different pairings of the characters. Like Germany and Prussia are always amusing together. Prussia, Austria, and Hungary never get old. France, UK, and colonial America and Canada either creates really awkward drama or some epically fluff moments. Germany and Russia can have their moments as the fatherland and motherland. I could go on and on.

If you don't like pairings, go ahead and skip this paragraph. When is comes to actual pairings, I like Germany/North Italy (most of the time I prefer Germany to be the uke and N.I. to be the seme), Hungary/Austria, and UK/US (in that order), but I can also find myself highly amused by pairings like Austria/Germany, Russia/Germany, Russia/US, US/Canada, Prussia/Germany, France/Germany, and Switzerland/Austria.

I love too many of the strips to name them, but my favorite is the one where Germany and North Italy switch places while training troops and Germany decides to act more like N.I. by headbutting him. XD

And I swear that you can pair Germany up with anyone and find something in history to support it. 8C

Depends on the country. For Russia I like him either way. Lithuania I prefer it when they call him Liet. But Poland I call Poland. Prussia is always Gilbert. But the others, I normally like their human names better, cept for England, France, and the Asian nations.

No, I already loved history.

I love Liet because I love characters that suffer abuse. I love Gilbert because he's so full of himself. I love Russia because he's abusive to Lithuania and the Baltic Boys. I love Poland, because he's really cute, and he's actually nice to Liet. Hungary because she's BA and Austria cause he wears a cravat, and those things are SO SEXY. Korea because he's a retard. And China...I have no idea. I just like him.

Ew. I don't like Alfred at all. I think he's fitting, but no.

I almost always prefer human names. Country names just sound weird to me now. Germany and Prussia referring to each other as "East and West" is my favorite. But I hate it when they add Japanese suffixes and whatnot. Like Germany calling Prussia "Nii-san" can make me backspace out of really well written fics.

Pfft. No way. I've ALWAYS loved history. This just makes the boring parts so much easier to get through.

Germany- I just love his personality type. Especially around Prussia and North Italy. (Also makes the perfect uke)
America- He's a freaking HERO. I love him mostly for the fact that I can make fun of my country, but he can be uber cute.
Austria- He is such a woman. And a mother to Germany and Prussia. >w<
Prussia- "The Diary of the Awesome ME"
Latvia- omgomgomg. Adorable.
North Italy- See above. Plus he makes a pretty sexy seme, when serious.
UK- Eyebrows.
Turkey- He's a BEAST.

Umm.. lol, I love Poland because he has a big mouth but is really easily embarrassed. Also he seems so nonchalant about everything, and he makes me lol really hard. Umm Sweden I like because he's always like >:| but he's really cute in his head, and that's a kind of character I like a lot. XD Also he scares the bejeebus out of Finland. I love HRE because he is adoooorable and so shy and he promised forever to Italy but then forgot, lmao. TRAGEDY.

I'm still not that into Poland, but I think its because I haven't read anything canon with him in it...

So I have no idea what the "real" Poland is like.

The whole cross dressing thing kinds turned me off from wanting to find out. D; I mean. I find some cross dressing amusing. But only if its, like, when the cross dresser id totally against it.

The fans just over do it. But I find it funny.

Cross Dress!Prussia is awesome. I also think it's funny on Russia when he's mentally scaring somebody else.
