What the heck happened? >.<

I was doing battle with nasty level 3 monsters and finally decided to go buy myself a potion in the shops to heal myself because I was barely breaking even and even losing silver by the constant need for healing and resurrections. I used the potion once and then kept battling. All of a sudden I find myself at 1 hitpoint and I go to use the potion again and it's not there! This thing has a duration of 2, so why didn't I get to use it twice? I hope this is a glitch and not a rip-off.

When stuff gets to "1" duration it dissapears from the lineup so you can repair it at the forge when your done. All the healers are essentially one use per battle items. :3

Except the healing potion doesn't show up at the forge and it costs 30 silver.......to heal at the temple at level 3 is 21 silver. To spend 30 silver on a potion you can only use once isn't really an advantage.....and it says 2 uses. So we should be able to use it twice.

All items disappear from the battle page when they hit 1 duration, this is to prevent expensive/rare items from accidentally getting deleted.

Also, the weak potions only cost 5 silver.

The reason it cost so much is because you get to heal while you are in the middle of a battle, I'm not going to have a potion that heals say 50hp points and it only cost 20 silver. I'm going to charge maybe 75 silver.

The prices are fair as they are, cause as Cat said you can heal during battle which is pretty much useful.

If you want a "potion" to be used multiple times, then get the healing/replenishing apples. :3

And is there a reason why one of the apples costs most than the other? Because from what is written in the shop, they have the same stats, but the healing apple is 75 silver and the replenishing one is only 50 silver (or vice versa). Isn't the more expensive one supposed to have more power or something like that?

Replenishing apple replenishes your Mana, healing apple replenished your HP.

I'm not trying to upset anyone. I think my confusion came from the potion having a 2/2 duration, which to me says you can use it twice. Thus, when I spent my silver on it, I expected to use it twice. Maybe that should be changed so it doesn't confuse users. I'm definitely going to look into the apples.

Maybe the shopkeepers of the magic and weapon stores should give a warning about that.

The reason they are there is to prevent confusion like this from ever happening. There is even a section regarding this in the FAQ thread...
