| There is actually no guide for such thing as of yet, but there is an FAQ that you can go to, and the help center has a bit of information on it.
However, races do not change your base color. What you base your race on should be what type of character you want. Fighter, magician, ect. ect. When you reroll your stats I suggest continuing to reroll them until each one reaches ten or fifteen for the best results.
What I personally do is make sure my strength and dexerity are as close to twenty as possible (the maximum) while everything else is at least 10-15. Then I choose a race that further raises something that was rather low, an element/alignment that I like, and then choose to be a fighter or a paladin. I go for maximum attack.
