Well, this seems like another fun site to give my hand at trying to enjoy, so let's see if I can't just go ahead and introduce myself.

My name here is Aaya-Tan, feel free to call me Aaya, Aya, AT, Tan, 'hey you with the face' mud, etc..

I'm a freelance artist (aka I draw a lot but have no career for it (LOLOL)) as well as a freelance author (Same as artist but I write). I have several types of stories I've been working on for months and what have you.

Hm, I'm not particularly good at these 'introduction' things, but, I'm also a college student, I turn 22 in May, I love anime as much as the next fangirl but not to the extent of most. Don't be afraid to talk to me, I'm always welcome to making new friends and hopefully new roleplay buddies.

I've been working with computers most of my life, over eleven years actually, and have thus learned most of my proper grammar, proper roleplaying (no godmodes/marysues/emotasms), and I'm not discriminatory toward any age. I have friends who are fifteen that are fantastic writers or authors.

I have a lot, actually. Is this based off of fantasy style DND? Sorry if I sound silly, it's just I'm looking through for avatars and such and found the 'roll sheet' and 'create character' area and I'm utterly confused.

I Found it through mangabullet, where I post a lot of artwork and assumed it was a bit like Menewsha or Gaiaonline or something. Haha, I feel a little out of my element here. I just like roleplaying stories..

Also, is there anyway to change my avatar's current appearence? I'm afraid at the moment I find it... Unsatisfactory. Haha, I guess you can if you earn enough silver or something? *feels like an idiot* I probably should have looked around more before joining, but I'm a sucker for good artwork.

DND? Is that dungeons and dragons? If so, then yes it is. ^^
You have to create a character to access the shops, and battle monsters in the battle system. If you need help choosing you tribe/class just ask.

Go to the avatar page, and click on the layers. There are free basic clothes and hair on the hair, tops, bottoms, under bottoms and under tops layers.
You can also change your skin color by going to the base layer. :3

You can gain silver by posting or defeating monsters in the battle system. It's real easy once you get the hang of it.

What type of things do you write?

I'm also open to answering any questions for you. To add to what Cat answered about changing your skin color, you can also change small things like your eyes, nose, mouth, ears and hair.

Whenever you create a character, I suggest making sure that you have at least fifteen strength, dexterity, and constitution for fighting with weapons; the others for using magic spells. Be sure to read through the advantages and disadvantages of tribes and elements through their descriptions to make a character that best suits you. :]

Thank you kindly, but ah, that makes more sense. There's clothing. I haven't been able to see my avatar while posting and that agitated me.

Personally, Chu, I write all sorts of things. Fantasy, science fiction, historical fiction (fantasy based, I hate doing too much research and then I end up having all this knowledge and I lost interest in whatever I was writing), or roleplaying. Generally, if I roleplay with someone, I ask for permission to use their characters to write out actual stories based off of the roleplay and things that were understood occurances in time frames.

I love writing poetry, prose, and songs, though. <3

And an art shop you say? I might do that when I get a new tablet. My old graphire 4 is dying on me. I have to hold it at an awkward angle to make it work. But if you'd like to take a look at what I can do t h i s will take you straight to my galleries. <3 If you'd like an example of some of my written work, I'd be happy to share them with you.

D'aww! Thank you! D: I don't see myself as anything too special, there's so many other artists that are so much better. xD

I do almost all of my art on paintchat. So it's mostly sketches unless I feel like going through hours of lineart. xD

And I might, I don't know, maybe if people show interest. I don't know how much I would charge for it..

But I do adore drawing a ton. It's what I do almost every day all day. I hoped at one point to make a career out of it, but there's too many artists running around, and not only that, it just gets annoying after a while when people beg for freebies and never seem to want to pay for it. :<

Uggggh, I hate making pricing threads. Mainly because I never get any serious statements. It's always half assed or 'omg maybe if I tell her something really cheap she'll make really cheap art and I'll order a ton and overwork her and make myself all awesome-ness'.

It ticks me off. :< I generally just ask other artists that hang around what they charge for their art and if I should charge the same or something. I generally try to keep my prices fair wherever I go.. I hated gaia, that's where all the artists went, and so far, some of the miniscule artists are slowly migrating here, I hope not too many come or I'll never get a chance. :<

I don't think I'm really all that good, just mediocre at best, really. And oowww okay Imma stop typing now my arms hurt. ;A;
