I've been wanting to do an auction for a long time now but it always seemed like no one really looked in the auctions / raffles subforums.. So I always felt like one lucky person would notice, bid the minimum on everything, and run off with it all *-* Would be good for them at least...
I think I actually did try an auction a while ago but it kinda just felt down.

Maybe we should switch sites lol, I think I'm almost the only person in my timezone here, if not the only one. Most of the time when I log on during the day I'm the only one online :p

hahaha as you can see....lots of people are looking into the auction/raffles now. Maybe you did it when the site was too quite? i feel like more people are active now...at least a little more. i know that when i first joined the site was....DEAD...like no post for days on tht's how my avatar spend months just there cause no one was around Cx

maybe we should...it's called kingdom of knuffel...a nice little artist community with avatars. I came from there to here. i think it's really nice...lots to do....much more active than here. I used to like it that we could talk to our admin like normal people......but for the past year she has stopped talking and it makes me feel like " ". kinda like the site lost some of my love since the owner seems so cold/business like. she didn't use to be that way, she was the user's admin.

anyway *coughs away small rant*
maybe you could sell the items? this way people could just offer x'D

I think the only reason I don't do that is... Assuming people are like me (which they're probably not but hey) they wont offer on something someone else is already offering on... 'cos it's rude. Even if I really wanted it, they got there first and it's RUDE.

"Yes, I suppose it is..."

I've never been to Europe either, but we have conversations like that over here in the US too sometimes. Even within our own country, about different states.

"It snows too much here. I'm moving to Texas."
"But isn't the south too hot?"
"...I'll move to North Dakota."
"It snows even more there!"

I think it's not necessarily just a cultural thing, but also based on the people in the conversation and such. Weather and places tend to make good small talk for people with nothing to talk about quite at that moment.
