((I forgot about this place here lol))

Kira continued to draw a plan of course it looked more like the draw of a three year old and someone who was as old as she was should be able to draw. "Ok I give I can't draw for shit." She said pushing the paper's aside and looking up at Zuvri. "I am with Lilian you don't look so good. Want to talk about it?" Kira said getting up and going into the kitchen and coming back with a pot of tea.

"I started this earlier and almost forgot about it." She said pouring each of them a cup. "It's not the best tea in the world but at least it's something." She said taking a gulp of it. "So whats got you so upset looking Zuvri?" She said sitting back down where her paper's were to look over her cruddy drawings.

"It's nothing," Zuvri said, passing a hand on the back of his head nervously. "Just some weird dream. It's probably just because of all that things that went on today," he added with a shrug. He grabbed his cup and took a sip of the warm liquid. It was a small comfort after his bad dream.

Noticing Lilian was playing with her cards, the young drow turned his head toward her. He wondered what kind of meaning the card she had just picked could have. he had never been taught anything about cards, and even if he knew a few magical tricks, his understanding of symbols was still very poor. "So, what does it said?" he asked, taking one more sip of tea.

"One of the priestesses of my long begone clan used to say dreams can be an omen. You just have to learn how to look at them." Kira said taking another long drink of tea. The way she was going the cup would be gone long before any real talking could be done. "Of course I don't believe that now since most of my dreams are about the death of my clan. Of course enough about my problems we still have to find out what these people in black robes are about."

She said finishing her tea and laying the cup on the table. Her drawings where a mess but at least the plans she had written down could be read. She couldn't draw but writing was a different story."So far this is all I have planned out. Um don't look at the drawing they stink the written ideas are probably best for now." She said hiding some of the drawings that were still out.

Lilian looked up at Zuvri. "The five of wands is a conflict card, mostly." She chuckled. "And I'd say that we made it through quite a conflict." Lilian pulled another card out of the deck, laying it on the table.

As she laid it down, she saw an image of an old man with a staff and lantern. "The Hermit..." she smiled. She always considered this card a representation of herself. A quiet character that tried not to interact with the rest of civilizarion too often, but was wise because of years of journeying.

Looking up, she joined in on the dream conversation. "Dreams are the mind's way of future sight. Your inner self always knows a lot more than your waking self could ever imagine." She replied softly.

"Dreams for me seem to be Loth's form of torment." She said remembering what had happened and the reason for her survival. A yocklol or handmaiden of Loth had been called upon by one of the priestesses for protection from the demons. To everyone's surprise Loth had actually answered unfortunately even with the yocklols help the clan died aside from her because another clan swooped in before she could die and the yocklol decided to protect her for a price.

That price was her sanity though she was sane in the waking world her dreams were plagued by her failure as a battle maiden and heir to the clan as Matron. It was rare for a battle maiden to be named heir but Kira had proved herself to her Matron mother at the time. Kira always wondered why Loth had not just had the yocklol kill her instead of course she figured Loth had use for her in the world somehow if she left her alive.

"Anyway whats that card you pulled out now mean?" Kira said becoming interested in the cards Lilian had for the first time other than when she had been using them to fight with.

"The Hermit is a card that symbolizes a wanderer, somebody who removes themself from society to find a higher calling." Lilian smiled. This wasn't the first time a non-paying customer had taken an interest in the cards, but it was the first time she answered them with more than a word before turning away. Though this started as a reading for fun, it was slowly turning into something actually quite prophetic. With slender hand, she drew the next card, putting it on the table.

The card that was put down was a cheerful scene of three women wearing bright gowns standing in a triangle. Each of them was holding a goblet. Seeing this card made Liliana smile. "The Three of Cups." She said quietly. Already expecting them to ask, she started to explain. "The Three of Cups symbolizes a deep friendship, a group bond that transcends every known obstacle."

As she looked at the cards, she knew exactly what they meant, but chose not to say so out loud. "After a tough battle, the wanderer will find companionship." She thought as she looked at the two drow.

"So its basically telling a future of some sort?" Kira asked she was sure she was right even though she didn't believe in such things. Fortunes and such were for fools that believed luck came from such things at least that's how she felt about them. Her luck had almost run its course more times than one only to be changed almost at the last second. There were often times she wished her luck would go ahead and run out.

"I would ask you to read mine but I don't really care to know to much." She said offhandedly breaking out of her dark thoughts. There was no time for that now not with dark robed whatever they were roaming about causing possible havoc.

Lilian nodded. "I travel from town to town, reading fortunes with these cards." She saw a hint of skepticism in the drow's face. "Ever since I started at the academy, I have been honing my divination skills. My readings are correct a majority of the time, actually."

At the mentioning of the robed men, she put the cards away. "Care to wander the city in search of them? I'm getting a little bored of sitting." She grinned.

"No not yet there's to many shady characters about this time of night to evenake out what we would be looking for. I have a feeling these people move day and night so they would be easier to spot during the day at least for me." She said having to remind herself that at night her vision though she could see just fine without a light force at all only distinguished heat patterns and not colors.

"I suppose if your bored I could let you do a reading for me after all. I have the coin if needs be." She said as an afterthought pulling out her change purse it was still quite full from retrieving her bounty before the inn was smashed apart by demons of courae it would most likely be back up and running fine in a couple of days.

"Hm," Zuvri simply said as his companions suggested his dream could reveal the future. He wasn't so thrilled about that. He took another sip of tea and looked at the cards Lilian had placed on the table. They were fascinating to him, although he was also a bit afraid of them. Anything that could "predict" his future was a bit frightening to him anyway. He shrugged and let the girls do the talking, concentrating of the warm liquid he was drinking and trying to remember what his dream was about, so that he could find some hidden message in it.

After a few minutes, not finding anything to remember or to understand, he shrugged and returned to their conversation. The drow would have liked to go hunt the strange black robe guy, but he knew the other was probably right. He had some night vision himself and knew how to use it, but it wasn't useful to see patterns and colors. He let go a small sigh and looked at what the fortune-teller would do, curious to see what a reading was like.

Jenna eventually decided that the two she was following were not worth the effort. They were minions, if not pawns, expendable. They knew nothing, and were unlikely able to lead her to anyone that would give her information. She kept her shadows about her, as she slunk back to the main living area.

The others were there, talking amongst themselves. Or doing card tricks. She wasn't close enough to see which. The vampire released her hold on her concealing magic, allowing the people present in the room to see her. Not that there was much to see. She wandered over to a chair that was close to the gathered people. They seemed to be in the middle of something.

"Sorry to interrupt. But, I followed the men that accosted you," Jenna said to Zuvri. "I didn't learn anything from them." She shook her head. "Um, I'll leave you to your business, if you wish. I don't want to butt into your conversation." She moved as if to leave her spot and go back to the cots.

Lilian smiled as she shuffled the cards. Even though they were well-shuffled before, she did it again out of habit. "Y'know..." Lilian smirked, looking at Kira, "I would usually ask you to pay at this time. I'll let you go for now." Something in her told her to stop shuffling, and she pulled the first card out of the deck, placing it on the wooden table.

The image was of a solemn-looking middle-aged woman with a gold crown. She sat on a cold-looking throne and held a great broadsword in front of her.

"The first card in the reading represents your past." Lilian explained, "And the Queen of Swords is a very interesting card to get for a past." She looked down at the card. "You have survived a great loss, but it didn't stop you. As I can see, you became strong, despite your loss. Maybe that was what fueled you." She then looked up at Kira. "Does that sound correct?"

((I know short but my kid is crawling all over me))
"You could say that." Kira said taking a look at the card, looking at it she did resemble who she used to be before she lost her family. It sortave unnerved her to see that one card was already so accurate about her."So what does the next card represent." She said not wanting her thoughts to /infer In the past for to long."And Jenna no need for you to run off. Before Lilian was doing my reading we were talking about a plan to go after those people in the black robes." She said seeing Jenna out of the corner of her eye talking to Zuvri and then appearing to walk off.

"The next card represents the present. What you are doing or what you will begin to do not too long from now." Lilian drew the next card from the deck and placed it on the table.

The card showed a ghostly hand in the air, holding a wooden staff. Under the hovering hand was a road reaching off to the distance. She looked at the card.

"Now, the Ace of Wands has many meanings, but all of them are beginnings. It could be the beginning of a creative project, or an adventure." Lilian's eyes sparkled. The ace of wand was only a positive card, showing a spark of bravery and enthusiasm. She smiled as she looked over it.

"Hmmm most likely the beginning of an adventure since we will be searching for those robed cultists." She said figuring that, that's what they had to be." They probably spread farther out than just here and if you all would be willing to travel with me I intend to find there main home to het rid of them before they can start another war." She said hoping that they would elect to join her. She liked the idea of having companions for this particular journey before she wouldn't have she used to prefer working alone but after this recent battle she seemed to feel a bond with the people around her. "From the way it is going I assume the next card will tell my future?" Kira said wondering what that card would hold.
