My cat hides at the bottom of the stairs like she's super sneaky or something. Then she attacks my feet or runs away when I reach the bottom. XD

She's also a bit of a scaredy cat. Like literaly. Anything and every freaks her into hiding under the couch or the bed.

I think all cats do the weird jumping out of nowhere in the middle of the room thing.
Isn't that supposed to be becuase they can see ghosts? O_o

o.0 I've heard that theory but I don't believe that cats are any different than other animals. However, I do believe that ghosts exist and that humans, cats, dogs, ect. can see them under certain circumstances.

I have never tried to lick a wall. Neither do I ever desire to lick a wall. Unless....
1. I get paid quite a nice sum of money
2. It is made of candy
3. It will save my life or the life of someone I love

Ok that aside. Yes cats can be quite silly. I know this from experience because I have 8 cats. yes 8. So I know cats.

I have not/will not lick a wall, but I do have five cats, and each of them has their own quirks. One of them (my cat) lives in my room. Before I put carpet down, she used to ski on her toehawks across my floor. Now she just leaps into the air. Another of my cats just randomly starts running around like she's had a red bull, and she's like 14. Cats leaping around and acting crazy is totally normal, especially at night.

But I do have one very SPECIAL cat. He is deaf. He LOVES anything visual as what I can only assume is a result of being deaf. He chases weird lights and shadows everywhere - reflections off of the fridge when you open it, your shadow when you walk, funny lights from the trees outside.. you get the idea. We were blowing bubbles outside one night (my friends and I are also kinda special XD) and he was just going INSANE on his window bed screaming at them because they were so shiny and pretty outside.
He also screams whenever someone leaves the room he's in, even if people are in the other room. You have to wave at him to show him you're still there and then he comes running over to check. He is obsessed with going in the bathroom with you too so he won't be left alone... even if people are still outside. One night he hollered all night, even though I had two friends sleeping downstairs... lol, they don't like him very much anymore.
And something VERY weird he does is get up on my mom when she's sitting in the computer chair or on the sofa and sort of like.. hump the air and knead her boobs. It always kind of disturbs me. O_O;
He also has a very mean habit of getting up on places and pushing select items off onto the floor. Because he's mean and gross like that, we (I) don't mind taking revenge, so we'll just hold him against his will until he's screaming for mercy XD even though we're not doing anything but holding him. We also popped a balloon next to his head once, but the force of air from it scared him so much he didn't come back into the room for a whole day. LoL, I sound like a terrible pet owner... but I'd never hurt him XD;;

My daughter's second cat had her litter of kittens in my lap. She was extremely pregnant, as in she looked ready to pop she also looked like a whole nother adult cat had been shoved into her belly, when she hopped into my lap. I was watching TV and petting her when all the sudden I felt hot and wet on my skirt. First I thought she'd lost bladder control and peed on me, then I realized her water had broke. So my sister got a towel and slid it under her, and she birthed her litter in my lap.

My cat, who happens to be the grandson of the cat above, used to sit on my metal file cabinet and watch the birds eating from the feeder outside my old bedroom window. He'd make these weird noises, I dunno how to describe them, and every now and then he'd make a leap at the window. Every time he'd bounce off the glass and slide onto the boxes under the window.

He'd also make a 3 foot leap to get onto my loft bed [it's like a bunk bed but only the top bunk]. He'd stand on the box, bunch his legs under him, leap, snag the blankets then claw his way up and over the guard rail. Meanwhile his sister would just look at him, then calmly climb up the ladder, plop next to him and give him a look as if to say "Your so freaking stupid."

It's funny, they 'talk' with each other, if you know what I mean, and it sounds like a crying baby. 8'D
I always laugh when I see my cat doing that.

haha your cat sounds like a tweaker, he's probably got a super active imagination or something. my cat will sometimes do the same thing, she'll suddenly stop what she's doing and stare at something invisable in the middle of the floor, or go sit in a corner and watch the wall for like half an hour at a time.
