| Out of the trees around them came war-cries, and a load of animals, all shapes and sizes, came crashing down on them.

| Noëlle screamed and paniced. She stood as close as posssible to Meriona and looked around scared. Then she took the Katana and hold it ready to slam with it.

| Meriona grabbed her hand and fled. There was nothing one person could do with so many enemies. She turned into an owl and signalled Noëlle to do the same.

| Noëlle quickly turned into a fox when Meriona signed her to. She ran as fast as she could.

| Meriona felt something grab her before she felt a hit on her head and fell, limp, into the stranger's hands. He did the same with Noöelle.

| Meriona groaned. She opened her eyes. But closed them again. After a while she looked around. She was in a cave.

| Noëlle woke up as well. Where was she? What happened? She paniced again and closed her eyes. She hoped she was home when she opened her eyes again. So she did, but no home.

| Meriona looked at the cave entrance to see a man sitting, his back to her. When he heard her footsteps approaching, he smiled. 'Good, you're awake.'

| The man turned to face them. He had light brown hair and intense blue eyes that seemed to clash with his face. He wore a simple expression but his eyes were full of wisdom.
'Haven't you listened to the Oracle?' he asked.

| 'Whi..Wha..Who?' she asked. The Oracle? She didn't believe in that stuff, and above that, she was just awake! Were was he talking about?

| 'Don't you even know who the Oracle is?' asked the man, frowning. Meriona shook her head. 'Then I'd better explain. But we'll wait until you've recovered a bit.' When he said that Meriona noticed the head-ache at the back of her head.
