| I'm not afraid of spiders at all. I think they're cute! In fact, jumping spiders are just downright adorable. My friend has a couple of tarantulas, and they are also adorable. And so pretty <3
What I don't like is them CRAWLING on me, and I am afraid of being bitten by poisonous ones (especially brown recluse), so I am cautious around them. Usually I put them outside when I find them. My best friend is utterly terrified of them though.
I had a jumping spider follow me around for a while, and it was really odd. He chased me across a parking lot and wanted to ride on my hand. I put him down a couple of times, but he insisted... he never bit me, just freaking ran after me. I put him down on the grass again and told him it would never work out, lol. My bio teacher walked up just then and was like "uhh"
What I DO hate is parasiiiites, ugh ugh ugh XD So I can understand your problem with spiders. Just the other day I was at the park for my friend's birthday and she fell down in a creek and got all covered in leeches.. they were all in her skirt and it was just awful. I had to run away after a minute 'cause it grossed me out so bad.

XD My mom lives there (I used to). There aren't many reptiles about. You have to go looking for them and then there's only a small chance that you'll find them!
Kaishi: I agree- parasites are terrible.
I've had a leach on me 3 times.

| I don't like anything crawling on me either (unless its the size of a rat or larger) the feeling just creeps me out.
I've never had a leech on me but I did have a tick on my neck once, and OMFG! It took me several days of scrubbing and cleaning and checking and re-checking to feel OK again.
My ex boyfriend got leeches all over his genital region once when we went swimming. I had to help him take them off.

ooooomggggg XD I'd have DIED. I couldn't go swimming if I knew there were leeches in a body of water... which is sad because I adore water.
And I haaate ticks. I had them all over me once when I was a little kid and to this day I can't even really stand to look at them.
I don't mind larger things crawling on me, just bugs/spiders... and only if I don't know. I have rats and a hamster and have had several mice in the past and I like feeling their little feets. XD But surprise crawlers are NO GOOD. I'll jump into the air and start wiggling all around freaking out if stuff crawls on me. Eeeugh.

| One of those fat ass black ones.. has just crawled under the skirting board in the opposite corner of the room. Dx
Once one scuttled across my sheets in the middle of the night when I was reading, and I only had a small light, and I just saw a black mass woosh across my sheets, I freaked and used a soft toy to attack it (-_-) but I managed to sedate it by doing so, I then .. killed it with the bottom of a glass, but I was sleeping on a matress on the floor so my mum heard my whole leaping out of bed thing, and she got rid of the carcass for me.. she hates them as much as me but she has to deal with them cus she's my mummyyy xD
The horrible thing is, I'm really bloody perceptive, so I find them. Really easily.
My eyes just tend to pick up dark patches on walls or floors, and also detect motion really easily. It's bloody annoying- Ignorance is bliss and all that.

| I think some spiders are pretty. They still scare the crap outa me though. So creepy. Even the Pokemon that looks like a spider [spiner-something-or-other] scares me.
edit: Once I was out on my front porch smoking [only poison myself outside] and theres a tree really close to the porch. Well when I came back in I felt something tickling my arm. I look over and right there is a huge [well okay only honey bee sized] spider crawling along my arm. I screeched and flicked it off. Then spent the next half hour hunting it down [it had been flicked near the TV and TV table] to squash it.

| I actually hate roaches a lot more than I hate spiders.
Because roaches are huge and absolutely terrifying.
And I just found a roach in my house and UGH. I had to kill it.
Most spiders I've seen in my house are...small and not all that terrifying. Usually they just mind their own business. But ROACHES. NOOOO.
Roaches will get ALL UP in your stuff.

| @ Yaneci - Spinerak, I believe.
@ glimpse - I used to work in the produce department of the local Wal-Mart. You'd be surprised how many bugs come in with the produce.
Once, I found a roach. I hadn't ever seen one before and I was fascinated with it. My boss wanted to kill it but I talked him into letting me take it home. I did a lot of research on her and found out that she was a female oriental roach. They eat mainly vegetation, so it only made sense to find her there.
I thought she was absolutely beautiful. My boyfriend wouldn't let her in our apartment so I kept her outside our door at the top of the steps. I used to love watching her drink the tiny water drops inside her bucket. She was injured, though, so she didn't live very long after I took her home.
Bye-bye Bugsy Joan.

| Well, I honestly like certain bugs. Some of them are really cute, actually. I once held a spider. When you have the big ones who have long legs, they like, walk slow on me.
:B
I don't mind bugs that much. BUT WHEN THEY ARE IN GROUPS AND ARE IN YOUR KITCHEN, IT IS DISGUSTING.
D:
Goodness, I hate ants when they're in your kitchen, just crawling around. I don't mind them when it's like one, but if it's like a whole group, it totally grosses me out. > 3<

| I really like ants, it's like a sign that summer has arrived when they're crawling around
Ofc, a nest of them inside somewhere, IS a little gross. D:

I don't mind bugs or spiders. If I see one inside, I usually find something to transport them with so I can take them outside.
