Unexpected Complications [Amber + Colin]

[Colin]

Jaden let Desiree go and told her he'd be back in a moment, before following Liz off in the distance.

"Yeah, I figured as much..." he said with a sigh, in response to her first statement, but her second one made him perk up some.

"Really?" he asked her. "Well... anything you can do would be greatly appreciated." he added, gratitude in his tone.

Lindsay looked over to Emelie.

"Er... Desiree drained her." he replied.

"First she was pissed off and suffering from amnesia. Now she's just suffering from amnesia... and probably more than a little scared." he explained.

[Amber]

Liz just gave Jaden a small smile. It was eerie though, since no one had ever seen an honest smile from her.

"Alright. Stay here, I'll go see what I can do." She said before walking past him, and towards Desiree.

"... I guess we didn't get out of this unscathed..." rowena said with a sigh.

"oh, how's Casey?" She asked, since she didn't see the feline anywhere.

It took a bit of work, but finally rene and Vincent managed to get Anna to the point where she would be fine. Probably be unconcsious for awhile, but she would survive, and she would be fine once she fully healed. It was thanks to Andrew and him being a draydin that they even were successful, since he was able to summon forth most of the plants that they needed. Some were out of range for him, since he'd never even heard of them, but for the most part, he was able to do wonders.

[Colin]

He held in the shivers that were threatening to come out at her smile. He'd never seen that before from her, and it creeped him out a bit.

He just watched her go, and looked to see how it would go between them.

"Doesn't seem so..." Lindsay replied.

"And Casey went for a walk. I explained everything to her, and she needed to go and clear her head." he explained.

"Alright, we're done." Vincent said.

"Damn.... good thing too, I'm exhausted." Rene added.

Andrew just went to Anna and pulled her into his arms softly.

"Thank Gaea..." he said quietly.

[Amber]

As Liz approached, Jaden would have had to honestly refrain from lunging at her when he saw the orb of magic, that was easily drow in nature, in her hands, and Desiree's reaction of fear.

Before he could even seriously consider it though, a barrier appeared around the two women, keeping anyone and anythign out.

Rowena nodded.

"Fair enough. I can't blame her." She said.

"Although, the hell knocked me out?" She asked, curious.

"And where's Vincent?"

Anna, despite being unconscious, seemed to relax against Andrew, making him even more relieved.

"At least she'll be alright. Come on, perhaps we should all head back ... somewhere, and relax for a bit. I know I did a fair bit of damage to Ash, and I'm sure everyone else could use some recuperation aswell. Hell, Rene, Andrew, you two alright? I know you guys hit the wall really fucking hard, plus what Chris was doing..." Ashley said.

[Colin]

"Desiree!" he called.

"Damnit..." he growled, as he noticed the barrier form around them.

Rene and Andrew looked to her and nodded.

"Yeah, we're cool." the said in unison.

"And that is a good idea." Vincent added, as he went back over to Rowena.

"Here I am, dear." he said to Rowena as he approached her.

"So how are you feeling?" he asked as he offered his hand to help her to her feet.

[Amber]

Rowena looked up and smiled.

"Everything alright?" She asked as she got to her feet.

"And the hell knocked me out for ... however long it was? Do you know?" She asked. She figured it wasn't anything bad, but ... she was insanely curious now.

[Colin]

Vincent smirked a bit.

"Emelie helped you out a bit." he told her.

"Your chain is non-existent now, but your soul was still corrupt." he said to her.

"So she purified it."

[Amber]

Rowena froze.

"... what? My chain's gone?" She asked.

"Nevermind the purification, as wonderful as that is, I can't help but feel that it's concerning that my chain is gone though..."

[Colin]

"Well... those that were in it, would have materialized as alive, but after so long, they'd be dead anyway... so they went to heaven, or hell, or wherever." he explained.

"Think of this as a fresh start." he added with a warm smile.

[Amber]

Rowena nodded.

"Alright then." She said, a slightly hesitant smile on her face as the barrier around Liz and Desiree vanished.

Liz made her way back over to Jaden, looking a bit on the worn out side.

"Give her a week. She'll be fine." She told him simply.

[Colin]

Vincent just held her close from behind, and kissed her on the cheek.

"Don't worry... you're still my little firebrand." he said to her in a whisper.

Jaden looked at her come over and sighed.

"Pardon the expression, but you kind of look like hell." he commented.

"But... whatever you did for Desiree in there... thank you. Thank you so much." he added sincerely.

[Amber]

Rowena just chuckled at him calling her his 'firebrand'.

"Of course I am." She said "Not like you're ever going to be able to to officially hook up with my twin, as much as I know you want to." She added with a grin,.

"Anyway, come on, let's get everyone to my sons', since it's closer."

Liz nodded.

"You're welcome, now shut up." she hissed before sitting down, obviously drained.

"Do me a favour, Jaden." She said.

"Fucking kill me. I'm technically still alive, and it's far better when I'm dead." She told him, neglecting to tell him that she could kill herself by will. She was the devil, was it expected for her to be completely honest?

[Colin]

Vincent was silent, before coughing some.

"Hey, I married you, didn't I?" he asked.

"And yes, we should head there." he added.

"See how Raquel is doing."

Jaden was almost stunned by her request.

"I... well... alright then." he said.

Then, before anyone could say or notice anything, he zipped behind her, grabbing her head.

"I'm still sorry though." he added, before twisting and snapping her neck.

[Amber]

Rowena chuckled.

"True, you did." She said before he commented on the fact that they should see how her sister was doing.

"Yeah... we probably should." She agreed before looking around.

"I'll go let Ash know, and those around him aswell." She added before walking off towards her son. On the way, she stopped by Lindsay.

"Hey, we're going to be heading back to the house, so try and track down Casey." She told him before continuing on towards ash.

"Hey! Ash!" She called out as she neared.

"We're going to be heading back to the house soon." She told him, Andrew, Ashley, Rene and Kalin.

When Jaden apologized, Liz didn't react before he snapped her neck. she fell to the grass in a crumpled heap, dead.

Her body was there for a couple of minutes before it seemed to melt into a pitch black ink of sorts that absorbed into the grass leaving no trace of her there. Another minute or two later, Liz reappaeared where she had been previously.

"Thank you." She said, which was a rarity.

"Although, now my neck has a kink in it, dammit. Regardless, go be with your girlfriend. She's such an easy target at the moment." She added with a smirk.

[Colin]

Lindsay nodded and got up, going to the woods.

"Hey! Casey!" he called.

"We're headed back to my place! Coming!?" he asked.

Ash nodded as well.

"Come on Ashley... let's go home." he said to his girlfriend.

Andrew got up and lifted Anna in his arms, ready to go back.

Rene went back to Kalin and helped her to her feet.

"Alrighty, babe, let's go." he said.

Jaden just gulped and went over to Desiree.

"Hey..." he said to her. "Let's go, where you can be inside and get something to drink or eat, ok?" he suggested.

Gregory walked over to Emelie's body and sighed.

"Vincent... you were a tad too late." he said as he bumped the scythe handle on her forehead.

"Up you get." he said to her, before looking to Madison.

"You ok, Maddy?" he asked.
