| "You go back," Varco said, a little frustrated, "but don't tell anyone about anythin, if I find out you did, you'll have wished you hadn't," she threatened.
"What? An orb? Drops? That's impossible," he looked away from her, "is that really true?" he muttered.

| Kaname sighed. "I won't then." He muttured, and flew away.
Kairie shook her head. "It's true, completely true, we weren't told that's why you were after us, what we were told were that if would give incredible power to a demon, but my guess is that isn't true."

| Varco nodded as Kaname flew off. 'How could he ever think something like that?' she thought and continued to walk through the forest. She'd known Jaque for too long, and she couldn't stop trusting him now. It wasn't long before she came across a familiar feeling. 'Jaque?' she wondered, walking toward where it was coming from.
"Incredible power? I'm not sure about that part," he said, "all i know is that we need it to continue living."
Varcco heard voices, one familiar, one not as much. It was Jaque and a girl. The angel possibly? She kept walking, but kept her distance, making sure she was far enough away so that they wouldn't notice her and so they couldn't feel her presence. She smiled, 'Squeezing her for information no doubt. There's the Jaque I know!' she thought.

| Kaname frowned, he was too afraid to rat on Varco, so he'd have to stay quiet with the higher ups.
Kairie shrugged. "Well I'd give up that notion, well that is unless you'd lead a demon army there, and to do that you'd have to tell them what I told you, and that would break your promise." She said.

| 'Promise? Ha! He wouldn't keep that promise,' she rolled her eyes. She waited to see what Jaque would so next.
"What? No, I woudn't do that," Jaque said. Jaque sighed, "Maybe we should talk about this later? I think we both need some rest," he said, noticing the changing colors of the sky. It was close to dawn and Jaque needed to find shelter soon.
'What are you doing Jaque?' Varco wondered, watching. Wasn't he going to try and get the information from her quickly and then kill her off?

| Kairie nodded. "Yes some rest would be nice." She murmured. "And thank you again for helping me out, it seems I am indebted to you again." She said then looked around.

| Jaque nodded and then walked over to her, holding out his hand, "I know a place where we could rest."
'What is he doing? He helped her? What?' Varco had so many questions, and she couldn't believe what was going on. Was he holding out his hand to her? 'Jaque, what are you doing? What are you planning?' she searched his face to see any glint in his eye, and twitch in his smial that would tell him that he was tricking that angel, anything, but she couldn't see it, not a single sign. She waited still, biting her lip.

| Jaque took the angel's hand gently and with a smile just as gentle. This was all Varco needed to see. Her eyes became dark and she quickly made her way back to where her own shelter was, to Kaname and see what he was up to now. As she ran through that forest silently, she had decided that she couldn't trust Jaque anymore.
The breeze was still cool, but she could feel it slightly warming up as the sun started rising. Varco smirked. Could this new little relationship between the angel and that vampire work to her advantage? Possibly. Varco loved games most of the time, especially when she was the in control, the one who was winning.
"It isn't too far," he said, taking her, leading her further in the forest, "It's my home. I've stayed there for so long. It's comfortable to me," he further explained, "You don't have to worry about being found out. I may be part of a bigger place, but no one comes around to where I am. I am much further out than the rest of them all."
They were so deep into the forest now, that the trees were much taller, much thicker, that the sun barely penetrated through the trees' tops. "We're almost there," he said, walking under one of the largest pines in the forest. Underneath, near the trunk of it, was a small hut, "There it is. It isn't much, but it's enough," he said, taking Kaire toward it.

| Kairie followed him looking around as they got deeper into the forest. She didn't really feel safe once the sun was barely visible, but she kept following him, just listening to him talk. Once they got there she looked at the hut. "I like it, it's small, and comforting." She said nodded.
Kaname was waiting for Varco at their shelter, he wondered what was taking her so long.

| "I'm glad you like it," he smiled at her and then opened the door, letting her walk in first. The room was dark, which was to be expected seeing as how it was a vampires house. You could see the outlines and shadows of the things he kept in his house. "Hmm, can you see alright?" He asked. He didn't have any trouble with seeing anything himself.
Varco waved to Kaname as she slowed and walked toward him. "Were you waiting long?" She asked, passing him and walking right into their shelter.

| Kaname followed her. "Yeah I've been waiting a while, so what did you find out? Did Jaque kill her?" He asked.
Kairie smiled as she walked in. She couldn't see anything so she squinted hoping that would help. She sighed opening her eyes and shook her head. "Nope I really can't see a thing." She admitted. "But that's fine, as soon as I find a place to sit I really won't be moving so seeing won't be a problem."

| "Oh, sorry," She said leaning against the table, "and why do you need to know?" she sighed.
"Hmm, here," he said, leading her over to a place where she could sit and placed her there, "Hang on," he said, walking away for a moment. A small light could be seen from further away now. It was a candle. Soon Jaque started to light a few others around the room and things began to light up, "That better?" He asked her.

| Kaname shrugged. "I just want to know, is it bad, and they way your hiding things you'd think he actually let the angel live and took her home." Kaname rolled his eyes.
Kairie sat down, and looked around once the candles were lit. "Yeah I can see perfectly now." She said smiling at him. "Thank you."

| "Who said I was hiding anything? You're just nosey, it's nothing you need to worry about," she looked around the room, "Do we have any apples?"
"Ah, alright. Would you like to sleep now? I have a room you can use," he offered.
