Haha, I know. I LOVE metal too! I don't have a CD collection though. Everything comes from online cuz I get exactly what I want. Haha. Why get a whole album when you get get specific songs, right?

Because i want to support the band and would rather have a hard copy. Also i still use a cd player for walking around so i use my cds all the time. :3

I mostly like classic metal and symphonic. I'm not sure which of these are correct because I know nothing of genres.

Ah, don't worry, I'm getting them, just busy with a lot of other stuff too. haha!

A lot of the rock bands I enjoy seem to only interest me for a few albums, and then become redundant. I love RHCP from the beginning up to Mother's Milk, BSSM had some good tracks, but was the end of the line for me. AC/DC for any album with Bon Scott, Brian Johnston just never did it for me personally. I enjoy Kyuss quite a lot, Blues For The Red Sun being an essential album in my mind, and I have quite enjoyed all the Queens of the Stone Age albums. I guess Led Zeppelin and The Beatles must be mentioned. GNR's Appetite For Destruction remains a rock classic. Hmm, how about Little Feat? They mix it up a bit, but are still essentially a rock band. Can't forget about CCR either!
However, my favorite rock band, and most likely my favorite band too, is Ween! Over the course of 8 albums and a couple of live discs, they have shown themselves, in my opinion, to be the closest thing to the Beatles today. They have continually progressed, aren't afraid of humourous, tongue-in-cheek lyrics or cover songs(just like the Beatles), and they even have their own White Album, White Pepper! They have two main songwriters, both of whom can sing, although one handles most to all of the vocal duties these days, and they can easily move between light hearted and seriousness. The one major difference is that Ween is an absolutely killer live band, far superior to any band I have seen in my life. On top of that, they have their own on-line radio station that plays requests, and allows anyone to make their bootlegs available for play on the station! Want to hear that version of Booze Me Up and Get Me High they did in your town, get Weenradio! Also, Ween fans are incredibly dedicated, just like Beatles fans! Enough of my ravings, long live the cult of Boognish!

My favorite bands are Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, and Grateful Dead. I like a whole lot more, those are just tied for first place in my favorites.
