| 21's my lucky number. It and 7 are some of the only odd numbers I like. Not sure why, but I just don't like odd numbers...Unless it's a multiple of 5 or 7. Because I'm weird like that.

| I don't have any lucky numbers, really. I don't win much. My favorite number would be four, though. Something about the number seems grounded and all-inclusive, which I like.
My unlucky number would be whatever meniscual change amount is in my checking account.

| Hehe, 4 is one of my lucky ones too. When I play games like Life where you have to choose 1-10, 4 is one of my preferences. Occasionally 3, but mostly 4. But my luckiest day of the year is always when it's a Friday 13th. Ironic, but true. >:3

| My lucky number has been 13 since forever. I'm not one of those people who picked it when they got older just because it was cool -.-
If I was doing something where I have to pick between 1 and 10, then I would have to say 9. Not really sure why, but after I watch that movie 9 it just started to make me sad.

| I don't really know why I love 9s. Maybe it's because it's a trinity of trinities. And humanity loves triples.

| Misery, we're the same with our actual lucky number Actually, far from it being cool, I used to be teased when I was a kid because of it. Because most people think of 13 as far from lucky, while for me, a Friday 13th means something epic is going to happen for me o.o;
And Kathira, that's true, many humans do love triples. Though I know someone who rarely likes triples. Because he hates numbers that aren't even numbers. o.o;

| It's hard to believe it's already the 17th!
I feel like poop, because the side effects are getting worse. >.< Although, I'm happy to have finally gotten the results back from some blood tests done over a month and a half ago...My HLH is Acquired, not Familial, so that means nobody else in my family has it, not even as a carrier. They won't have to get tested. I just happened to be 'lucky' that it developed in me. And it's less likely that I'll need a bone marrow transplant. Not completely guaranteed, but highly unlikely.

| Hey, Kacey. That's good to hear... except for the side effects getting worse, of course. :/ Pamper yourself as you can, okay?
And thanks, Kathira! I wanted something gaudy after having that dark one for so long, haha.

| I agree with Kathira, it is an awesome avvie, Chu.
And don't mind me, I'm just being a whiny-butt today because I'm not in the best of moods. Luckily, I'm going onto a modified program for school where I just go in for band and do all of my work at home and stay home for the rest of the day since I get exhausted so easily. My dad left on another of his trips, and is in Seoul, South Korea right now. He's also going to be in...Another place that I can't remember the name of. He was also supposed to go to Vladivostok, Russia, but his visa didn't get back in time for his trip, so that's not happening. Which means that instead of being gone for 4 or 5 weeks, he'll only be gone for 3 or 4. Yay!

| I feel like I haven't been on in a long time. How long has it been? Am I still welcome here? ...I'm gonna assume I am and say hi anyway.
Kacey: Congrats on the new school gprogram. It's good that they're gonna help make it easier on you a bit! Also, I hope your dad coming home will be a great reunion. Don't worry, we'll all try to help keep you from being lonely without him :3 I'd be so lonely without my dad x-o

| Oh June, you're always welcome~
Thanks~! Yeah, I don't see him much, even when he is in the US, since his job is actually based in Arlington, Virginia. And I live in Pennsylvania. So when he's in the US, he drives home every Thursday night, stays for the weekend, drives back down every Sunday, and stays in a motel down there while he goes to work. And then every other month or so he goes on a 4-5 week trip to various places around the world to US embassies and consulates. Some of the places he goes are awesome (He's headed to Vienna next summer, and the rest of us might get to go with him!) but other places...Not so much. It's kind of scary when he goes to places where he gets 'Danger Pay'. Basically, they pay him extra because it's not exactly the safest of places for Americans and he has to stay in the embassy itself instead of in a hotel like he usually does. I hate when he goes to those places. >.<
Ah, yes, in case you're wondering what my dad actually does: He works for the US State Department. He's a Federal Fire Marshall. So yes, my dad works for the US government. I like being able to say that...It's kind of an awesome feeling, even if it's not anything especially spectacular.

| So, is he able to work right now? Or is he one of the ones who are not allowed to work until the Republicans stop being idiots? (Yeah, I blame the Republicans for the shutdown mess, but I'm not as up to date as I'd like.)

| Kathira, we got really lucky, especially since he's the only one in my family that works. His section of the State Department does multi-year funding, so the whole government shut-down thing didn't make him stop working. He knows people who aren't working right now, though, and they're not getting paid.
So my dad's working right now, and getting paid, only because his part of the government was smart and figures out its funding plan for several years at once instead of the annual shit most of the rest of the government does. If he wasn't allowed to work, he wouldn't have gone on the trip, after all.
