I played the GBA Sword of Mana a while back as a rom I think. According to Wikipedia, by the way, the series itself is called Mana. You were right on the mark Sharm!

I love Golden Sun myself, too. But I didn't beat the original, so trying the next one wouldn't really make sense I guess...

And Brink, I go nuts for Smash Bros too! I've always and will never stop loving it. x3

PS1 is really old . . . man I just can't think of it that way. I guess I'm too old myself. Of course, I've been gaming since pong so. . . .

Yeah, Legend of Mana is one of those games. I happen to love it but it's not the fan favorite. Every one of them that I've played has been beautiful and had fun mechanics.

I had a roommate who considered herself a gamer and had never played Chrono Trigger. I found out about the same time as the DS version came out so I made her buy it. I ended up playing it more than she did though. Maybe it's nostalgia talking, but I think it's still a great game.

I think the second Golden Sun is less like a sequel and more like an alternate plotline. It follows some of the characters that show up in the first game or something. I haven't played the second one though.

I don't have much to add to the topics being discussed right now, so I'm going to bring something else up. Feel free to disregard it if you don't have anything to say.

I've been getting into The Elder Scrolls again because I did a little stress test for The Elder Scrolls Online. It was a lot of fun, and I'm excited for the official release... even if I won't be paying the subscription for long. I figure I'll pay for a month... maybe two, tops.

I played Oblivion only a bit, because to be honest, I was in a state where I was having nightmares and I'm already easily disturbed and startled. So I should go back and play it one of these days >w< As long as I turn the blood off and such I'll probably be fine...I hope o3o

I'm a terrible person on games like Oblivion / Skyrim.
I start a game with every intention of being the good guy, helping people, completing quests, all for the good of the world!

And then someone will have something in their house that I really want.. It's pretty and shiny.. And I have to have it. And then some guard will be like OMG GIVE IT BACK ^(o.o^) so he had to die..

After the dust settles, my character is the most hated person in the realm, but I have my shiny thing. It's my shiny thing, no one elses shiny thing... And I will treasure it forever.

It's happened every time I've tried to be good though.. Bottom line is, in elder scrolls, cheaters always win and winners always cheat.

Most fun thing I ever did was cast frenzy on a village and all the people went on a psycho murder rampage.. And I didn't even get a bounty for any of it xD Illusion magic is AWESOME.

It sounds like the amount of destruction that you cause - and your blatant disregard for innocent lives - is on par with Daedra. Maybe they're really just particularly evil players that the NPCs grew to fear. They were so cruel and destructive that they manifested in the form of Daedra. I mean, it makes sense. The game creators are Aedra because the Aedra were of the same "race" as the Daedra, the only difference being that the Aedra decided to contribute to the creation of Nirn whereas the Daedra did not. They were the same in every other way. After Nirn was created, the Daedra decided to pop in for a visit and have some fun at the expense of every living thing they could find. The NPCs themselves say that the Daedra can't be killed - and we really can't be killed, since we just keep respawning - and that their minds and intentions can never truly be understood by anyone but those of their own kind.

... I started saying all of this as a joke, but I really like where it went. XD

So that'd mean in the next Elder Scrolls game there'd be a daedra called Sam...

This is actually such an awesome theory though, I mean in a world like this it almost does seem possible that some people could be so completely terrible as to ascend to the level of Daedra and legend.

If only I could have Illusion magic in real life... The paralyze one is hilarious, they just freeze and fall down. xD

I've been watching lore master videos on Youtube lately, so my imagination has been very fertile. Although I should probably put that creativity into Mido instead... XD And I don't think you have issues. /o/

With this kind of imagination, you'd probably be able to make a really good Halloween event :P Though it'll probably scare people quite a bit... A lot actually.

Rofwl Pikmin, your Elder Scrolls shenannigans is almost on par with my brother. He swears up and down that "this character" is going to be "good" but, with every single character he has made, he is always wanted in Windhelm. Mind you, a few times he had never even been to Windhelm prior to my watching him enter. Its always a good laugh to see the trouble he gets into for doing absolutely nothing.

I like your theory Chu. o-o I hadn't ever considered it. If anything though, my favourite Deadra is Sheogorath for his "insane" tendencies. I should mention that Skyrim is the only Elder Scrolls I've played to date and I took an instant liking to that mad jester / prince.

I wish I could say I actually followed the Golden Sun storyline Sharm but, I'm really rusty on it. I do remember that there were characters from the first one in the second one but, in all honesty. I can't remember even how it began at all. Hence, Golden Sun may just be the perfect game to replay xD Hell I can't even remember my favourite Djinn or combination of elements etc and yes, the PS1 is old. Don't feel bad though, the games on the PS1 to me will go down in history as classics. I wasn't around for the Pong era lol No, its not nostalgia at all. It can't be. I replayed Chrono Trigger a couple months ago and I was still as engrossed in the story in this playthrough as I was back when I first played it then. Its an addicting game, well writ and wrought with feels.

Juneberry, have you been following the Youtube channel for the character reveals for the next Smash Bros? The videos are always so comical. xD Any of the new characters you're excited for? I'm going to learn to beast with Megaman, I've already made up my mind on that!

I haven't watched teh videos on youtube, but I regularly look back at the website to see if new characters have been revealed. I'm looking forward to megaman, but right now my favorite new fellow is definitely the villager from animal crossing. <3 I'm still really wishing a rumor from tumblr were legitimate, but I have my doubts...

Also, now I feel like playing oblivion o.o;

Awh, I always love when Halloween event planning comes around. Remember ASTRAL? I helped with that. c: I remember being very excited to participate in it. It's a shame that the story didn't get much attention, though. I thought it was pretty interesting... or maybe that's just personal bias speaking.

See, I have the opposite problem. I try to make "evil" characters and I never play them for long because I end up feeling bad. XD

You should play Morrowind, Kale! I liked it more than Skyrim because it was so much more... alien. Granted, the Dunmer are my favorite race, so it's no surprise that I love Morrowind. The Overhual mod makes it look great, too!

And everyone seems to be the most excited over Megaman, but I like the Animal Crossing Villager, myself. cx
