"And it would give you the protection of all vampires that respect the Triad... which, after the agreement, is almost all." he continued.
"Plus, it would allow you to enact laws and restrictions on people like your mother, to stop her cycle of death and torment, as well as others that may be happening." he explained.

| He smiled, as he took his finger from Jaden.
"And now your boy should be fine." he said.
Jaden had visibly relaxed, and cooed happily for a moment, before closing his eyes and drifting into a peaceful sleep in his mother's arms.

"Sydney, just live a long and healthy life, and take care of your boy." he said.
"That will be the repayment to me." he whispered.
"And, if nothing else, I'll be here to help you whenever you need me." he added.
