Rage at the post

Yes this is just me complaining again.

So.

Normally when I order things online I choose the cheap/free postage because I know things'll get here eventually and I'll have paid less. But this ONE TIME I pay more for the postage because I wanted to get it TODAY.

I'm sure you know where this is going.

The post is supposed to arrive between 10am - 1pm.

It is now 1:20pm.

Where is my parcel?

I'm hoping that by posting this I will invoke sods law and it will arrive within 5 minutes of my post.

So now we play the waiting game....

EDIT 1: 1:45pm - No parcel.
EDIT 2: 2:00pm - No parcel.

Uh, that sucks. That's kinda why I don't order much stuff online. I hate waiting for them to arrive, or get all stress because they don't get here "on time" and then I fear they got lost or something.

Anyway, hope you got your parcel now. ^^

But things like my new camera (800$ value)... yeah, let's just say I prefer having it safely at home than lost in the universe.

New Final Fantasy game lol, and I guess stress is the wrong word for me, more irritated..
Y'know, I pay for something, I expect to get it =/

And yeah, if I ordered something that expensive, I'd choose the best postage and ask for it to be shipped in a bomb-proof container....

Ah, nice. I haven't played any FF games in so long...
Pff, naturally now I'd like to play it, but I don't have time and money...

I just skipped the bombproof container. I bought it from a US shop, and I doubt trying to pass a bombproof container through the border is a good idea.
At least it got here safely.

It does say estimate, but.. It was next day delivery, which says:
Choose this and we will guarantee your parcel by the 3rd of February!

And nope, never arrived. Think I may bug them for my money back.

Do it. They made a promise and didn't deliver. If you paid extra and it doesn't arrive by a guaranteed time then it's their fault :3

oh mah god don't get me started on our postal service a book of mine I'd ordered online got lost and it had been lost about a month. Anyways I'd finally got it after complaining and they were looking for it, the idiots at the sorting depot had put the wrong street name for the postie to look at and see easily... dunno why you wouldn't actually check the printed address but still.
