I'm Shaelyn, and I don't know what to say. I'm new here, hoping to find a place that I can enjoy.

I am in my late twenties, I play video games and I attend school. I like to meet new people, and I'm always looking for fellow nerds to nerd it up with.

Anyway. I come from a few different avatar sites and I tend to bounce back and forth between them all, because, well, what can I say? I love playing with different avatars. Anyway, I hope I can make some friends and get to enjoy this site. Nice to meet all of you!

Ah, I've forgotten to introduce myself. I am Mal, resident weirdo (not the only one...there are a ton of amazing weirdos here) with absolutely no position of importance. I take pride in my ability to misinterpret any information, despite the fact that a three-year-old could understand the statement. I hang out in a lot of places (I'm a bit of a ninja), so if you need help...ask someone else. I'm despicably unhelpful. It's the one piece of my resume that's lacking.

Nah, you can ask questions whenever. Someone'll answer eventually. There's a Newcomer's Help Center (Maeve usually posts in here with a link, but she's on hiatus T_T) where you can get goodies and advice. Any other questions, just ask.

From my experience, there are a huge variety of personalities wherever you go. Here, I think you'll find that most are of the helpful, friendly, and slightly odd variety. Ok maybe that's just me I'm talking about. xD;

Seriously though, welcome!~ As Mal said, be sure to check out the Newcomer's Help Center, and just feel free to hop in anywhere to say hello. I realize that I'm a bit late to the party here, but any other questions you may have, feel free to ask...if I can't help you, I'm sure someone else will.
