I am an individual who thrives on conversation of all sorts.

As for knowing a lot about the Cosmos, well...

I am actually not very informative on it. I just really love
the stars. I have a poets heart & the stars just inspire me
in ways I cannot even begin to express. Colorful nebulae,
the constellations, the Milky Way!

Well, you'll see me go into super nerd mode. *grins*

humble avatar further? What is the difference
between gold, silver & copper? & as for the
characters... I'm a bit perplexed. I *am* a
blonde, after all. ^^;;

There's an avatar tab in the top right corner to get to the avatar menu in the first place - And a shops tab in the top left to get stuff for your avatar.

Copper is the lowest currency, it can be exchanged for silver here or spent in the newbie shop for a few things that'll help you in the battle system.

Silver is the "main currency", it's used in all the other shops (except temple of gold) and a lot of people buy/sell items with it. It's also what's earned by posting and battling. It can be used to buy weapons, or "common items", which are nice for customising your avatar.
Especially the punk items... (bias ftw)

Gold is the currency that can only be bought with real money (or bought from other people who sell it), and can only be spent in the temple of gold for rarer items... These items tend to have a few poses with them, see here as an example for what's in two of them currently there.
These items are known as Ancient Relic Items, or Donation Items (less likely) and get shortened to ARI/DI... And get replaced every so often. When they leave the only way to get them is other people /o\
