I was just wandering the internet while Solia was down and I stumbled upon this site.
I'm hoping to make a few new friends that'll keep me coming back!

The best thing about Midorea is that it's a more mature site than the ever-increasing popular avatar sites. You won't find any chat-speaking or 1337-talking noobs here ^__^

Another awesome addition is that the mods are actually involved with all the members!

Aaaand of course to top it all off, we have gorgeous graphics

Maeve will probably post sometime tomorrow giving you more helpful tips than I do, but until then I hope you find everything to your liking

Well, I've only been looking around for a few minutes and I already like it here a lot!
I'm trying to find a few guides to help me get adjusted. Any specific place I should look?
(Or am I just missing the answer and it's all right in front of my face? XD)

Oh, haha, well thanks for showing me!
So, how is the community around here? Pretty easy to get into and active? Or are you just that carefully selected member sent to post in the welcoming forum to lure all of the newbies into a false sense of comfort?

Lol! I actually never ever come here I don't usually stray from my comfort zones, which are the Art Shops board and sometimes The Lounge board.

Maeve is probably that selected member, though. She's even a Mod, and I have a feeling her Mod responsibilities have to do with welcoming newbies.

The community isn't very active, unfortunately, but the people who are are incredibly friendly and wonderful <3. There are plenty of times (like right now) when the forum has basically no one online... but! If you stay and chat and become active, that will just help the activity, so don't be disheartened by lack of responses and whatnot It just needs to be given a day or so until people wander back online.

Ha, well that's alright. I don't mind slower moving forums. (Hence Solia, haha.)

When people are online where do most of them go? (I'm assuming the City Hall or City Square, but I could be wrong...)

Actually, I believe The Lounge. That's your best bet on finding people to befriend and whatnot. Also there are a lot of people who simply roleplay on Midorea, so if you are into that The Theatre is the board for you.

Aaaand I kind of kick-started the Art Shops into being one of the most active boards with my B/C shop, so if you like adoptables or just avatar art, you should check that out :3

And then of course there is The University, where you go if you want to have a serious, intellectual discussion.

Aaaand if none of that is for you, The City Hall would be the best place to go to just talk about art, music, books, movies, that type of stuff That board and The Lounge are the main casual hang-out spots.

Uh... my shop doesn't sell avi-art it sells those centaurs that you will probably see everywhere xD -points to my signature- that's one of them. The faery next to him is Kupsy's B/C adoptable. She's having a flatsale right now, actually o 3o!

EDIT; Oh, yeah, that's Clarinet. She only posts in the Fun and Games board (I've learned from my stalking abilites >__><__<).

I suppose o xo;; I can't actually figure out how she doesn't get bored of only posting in there, it's pretty much all the same exact games that you play repeatedly... it's better to just chat with people o__O;; but whatever floats her boat. She seems like a very nice girl, so. Meh.

And yeah, it seems like just posting in games would get old but.. To each his own. Maybe she has some deep set social anxiety that is so rare and.. deep.. that it only shows when she's online.

Maybe she IS the sun.
(Because everybody OBVIOUSLY hates the sun and, after a while, that has to take a toll on it! I mean, would you be able to get up every morning and be out in the open for however many hours knowing that lots of people were going to see you and hate you for the entire time you're up? But then when you hide or cry they get all mad and stuff...)
