Yeah, yeah. I know that. Sometimes, I just feel the need to assert myself as a poet, regardless; maybe because I haven't been writing enough lately, which is frustrating. Sometimes it's there, and sometimes it's just... not.

But enough about me. Which competition? Do you have any of your works posted (so I can read them)? Are you totally fed up with my questions by now?

It was just one for all the elementary schools in my state lmfao. All of the top three winners were from my school though, which was interesting.

I don't even have the poem any more; it was probably shit, anyway. It was just about me being in nature. And the first line was something about a rock, pfff. That's all I remember.

Yeah, muse is hard to come by xD I know. I've spent most of this summer in a complete funk.

And no, I don't generally show people my poems. I especially don't put them online for the world to see xD.

I know not all poets are ^^ Honestly, as I said, I just never get to vent irl, so that was my vent against those who annoyed me and made me lose just a little more faith in humanity.
I honestly don't want to "hate" anyone.. It's just people like that make it so easy to.
T'is a new morning now, and I feel better for it, even though those arse-holes in that class will never get to hear it... Maybe I should send them it. :3

But as Doctor said, there are the really bad stereotypical ones out there, like the ones in my class are trying to be, so I needed to have a go at them xD
I sometimes try to be a poet myself, but I'm not good at writing serious poems..
Or rather, I can if I put my mind to it. I just don't want to. /childish \o\
Plus, I used to be in a band, so I'm more used to writing lyrics than poems... Lyrics can hide behind music more so they don't need to be as meaningful as long as they sell s*** pop records ¬_¬;

I have only ever wrote poetry in school when I had to. I love and am good at writing stories but with poems I suck! It just doesn't come easy to me. I would like to be good at it.

I really think poetry is one of those rare instances that you have to be born talented at. People say you can always work hard and be able to do anything but... working hard on a poem really shows through in the end, and it sounds really forced.

One thing I don't like is people who think they're bad, when really they just have their own style.
That sounds kinda patronizing but I think of it like this:
My drawings are "alright".. But I want to be able to draw anime/chibi better, every time I try those it turns out fairly poor, so if I only focused on that I'd say I was a bad artist...

The bunny is ok now o\ Though what the future holds for the safety of all bunnies, no one will know...
It probably won't be stew though. 'cos crackers and cheese is just better.
Guess I better go clean out the hamster now though, so until then there will be no bunny-related violence.

EDIT: Back... Umm.. Is it wrong that I've not played on Sims 3 for ages, and the first thing I do when I start it up again is make someone starve..?

Though, I've never played Sims, let alone Sims 3, so...I can't really say how fun or not fun it is in that game.
