The Guild of Midorean Role-Players: Freshly moved!

Well, we already have contest for role-play/role-player of the month (which sadly still don't happen every month because of the lack of activity). But meh, I guess a little more advertising for those contests, or some other sort of prize, might attract some people.

Oh, and anything for the avatar is out for now. Firstly, because it would be somewhat unfair to the non-role-player members of Midorea (and because I don't want people to role-play just for an item, it happens before and wasn't pretty ), and secondly because Cat is sorta the only pixeler we have, and she is already busy with the three-months-late relics and other admin-ish things...
Though, maybe it could be some sort of signature badge? Like, some sort of small picture, trophy or something like that, with the name of the person on it... or just a picture... or something... Yeah, maybe that could work.

I really hate to see the forums rolling so slowly, but hopefully we can find something to make it move again.

Well I hope your plotting goes well. I'm half considering doing a Sci-Fi roleplay just to see if people would join. I doubt it but hey everything is worth a shot.

I'm still working on it but it will involve life on other planets and most likely homo-sapiens will not exist yet. (So set in the past but the DISTANT past. Like 2500 million years ago in another universe...or maybe this one.)

I should really get that under-dark book back from my friend so I can get my rp going again. But he's using it in a campaign right now and I hate to make him mess up his story cause I need stat's on monsters.

Okay okay. To be fair, everyone has been having real world issues. I can understand those. I've had a few of them myself. But still..... I'm really missing roleplaying with people.

Sometimes my roleplay partners, on a different site, just up and disappear for weeks then come tell me what happened.

*sigh* I miss role-playing a lot.

Oh, while I'm around, anyone else is thinking about entering the role-play contest? *points toward first page* Just making sure, since judging won't take much time anyway (that and maybe a good new role-play could restart some of the interest in the forum).

Oh, and I've also edited the contests. Considering the *cough*slow*cough* activity in the role-play forums right now, I'll cut the role-play and role-player of the month contests, and instead replace them with some sort of reward that can be allowed at any time, upon suggestions from role-players or my own observations.

I've been alright. Busy, but alright.

I've been thinging of attempting to ressurect my old roleplay, or start a new one. But the only ideas I have for a new roleplay involve zombies. And seeing that there's already a roleplay involving the undead and it didn't get very far, I'd figure that I better wait on that one.

Yeaah... I wanna get back into roleplaying, but I'm not quite sure what I want to roleplay. I'm doing a massive crossover roleplay with a few friends, but it doesn't have... enough.

WE ALL NEED TO TRY AND START SOMETHING! I can consider doing a general roleplay based off of my Basic Fantasy universe, including BF rules, maybe, but I'd need to finish the world first.

Zombies sound fun, and fantasy too (will check Basic Fantasy when I'm done with that stupid painting of mine) ^^
And didn't the other undead game stop because the GM disappeared?

Yeah, I'd like to get back into role-playing. Unfortunately, it seems that I'm too busy to create a new game by myself (or try to resurrect those dead games ), but I'd be willing to play pretty much anything.
Of course, I probably can't post more than once per day at max, in fact probably less than that, until school is over, but meh, if there's something interesting enough around, I guess it give me more reasons to spend time on Mido.

Yeah, the Zombie based roleplay basically died when the GM disappeared. I have a basic plot in mind and a somewhat achievable goal. But there is no definite ending point.

I had attempted to use it for a one on one, but my partner disappeared for it. It'll need a couple tweeks to make it group worthy. I doubt that it would work with a ton of players, but a handful of dedicated zed hunters would do the trick.

And a post a day to every few days isn't going to bother me, with the attention the role play forums have recieved.
