History:
Raised as a proper and demure young lady, Evangeline always new she was just an item. She was just an item that would further her father's status in the world and bring honor to her family. With her homely beauty though it was unlikely that anyone would want her. However, due to her families already high status she was still considered quite the catch by the ton.
So when Evangeline was of marrying age, around fifteen, she was taken to her first party. This party was hosted by Madam Loretta Cross and her husband Lord Cross and so it was a very high and affluent affair for the young Evangeline to attend. She was amazed though by how many men just avoided her due to the fact they couldn't bare to look at her when her older sister Marietta was quite beautiful and elegant.
Eventually at this party though a rather affluent and dashing man came and asked for her hand in a dance. While these two waltzed, his beauty only amplified by Evangeline's rather boring appearance causing her to get rather tortured looks by other women of higher beauty, their parents talked. Their parents talked about how the would work well together and how it would amplify each families holdings with the king. At first they wanted Marietta but she was already engaged to the Lord Beaumont of France and so they would settle for the younger sister Evangeline.
When the bargain was struck the young Lord Moss Well proposed to her at the fourth ball they attended. Seeing as she had no way out of it with such strong words from her mother when she told her mother that she didn't want to marry him Evangeline forced herself to say yes. She is still in denial about it and really refuses to call him her fiance. She just didn't want him, she didn't love him, and she feels trapped between her duty and her family honor.

Evangeline has long light brown hair which she keeps in a rather messy bun, a braid, or when she is in a hurry she lets in run free.
Eyes:
Evangeline has dull green eyes that appear to be soulful and full of knowledge. They also give the impression of a cow her mother once told her.
Body:
Small and petite Evangeline stands only five feet tall and has a body that most women would die for, that is if she wasn't a bit boney. She has a near hourglass figure her hips being smaller than her chest which is a simple size of C.
She also is not very muscular and isn't flabby though. She doesn't eat much so she burns all the calories she consumes but she does have some fat on her stomach but she keeps it cleverly hidden by a corset. It's just enough to make her insecure but it's not enough to puff out. Basically if she was muscular it wouldn't be there.
She also has a long and quite hideous scar on her back that crosses her back to her left hip and stops at her inner thigh. It is from an accident when her and a maid's child was playing and they got a hold of a whip. She is quite ashamed of it and lets no one see it.

Hobbies:
Evangeline enjoys to work in the gardens. She loves to plant the flowers, tend flowers and trees and to basically work around in the dirt. This might be considered unladylike but she loves it and it brings her peace.
After her garden is in bloom she enjoys to go outside with a small book of poetry and a cup of tea. Sitting down she usually sips her tea and reads her book. At times she stands up and starts to give an impassioned recitation of the poetry, thankfully though her betrothed doesn't visit the gardens often or he might be upset with her.
Most prized possession:
Evangeline's most prized possession is a small silver ring that was her great-great grandmothers engagement ring. It was given to her by her mother when she was betrothed to the Lord Moss Well.
Social and other pressure, problems:
Evangeline is quiet and demure in social situations as she was trained to do. However, she is also quite hyperactive so that causes a lot of problems.

Catholic – She has revolutionary ideas though.
Personality:
Even though Evangeline is considered to be a lady of the up most etiquette and social upbringing she does have a mind of her own! She does voice her opinions but she does so in such a subtle way to those other than Jeanette and she also is great at manipulation. However, she is so scared of her betrothed that she remains deadly quiet around her.
Also while Evangeline is a great manipulator she is also quite the sweet and gentle lady. She is kind and doesn't try to hurt people as she doesn't want to get the reputation as a bad woman. She cares greatly about her reputation but she also feels it is tainted due to her betrothal to Lord Moss Well.
