Writer's Note
To understand what's going on I suggest you read the Winter Solstice 2009 and Summer 2010 plot introductions.

Almost 5 months have passed since Jin, overwhelmed by the power of the Sun Dragon Spirit that resided within him, destroyed the Ice Dragon City. It is said that a single warrior managed to bring down the rampant beast, casting its Spirit out of the Fire Dragon prince.
After this incident Jin was spotted near the Ice Dragon's City, as though he was searching for something. No one has seen him since then however.
Eimara, the Ice Dragon Princess and woman whom the Moon Dragon Spirits reside within, has also been missing since the Summer Solstice, the day she was to be wed to Jin who is Prince of the Fire Dragons. The wedding is an ancient tradition intended to symbolize the unity of the Fire and Ice Dragons; Thus calming the restless Sun Dragon Spirit preventing the destruction of the Earh.
Some rumors even suggest she was in the City when it was destroyed.

Now that the Winter Solstice has passed with no sign from the Moon Dragon Spirits, many of the remaining dragons lost hope in ever rebuilding the City and left, for without the Spirits, they cannot sustain their original way of life.
Farfalla, Queen of the Ice Dragons, had realized this long before anyone else. She searched through the oldest scrolls in hopes of finding an answer; a clue to an alternative power source. Perhaps the early nomads were aware of something that allowed them to thrive in such a hostile environment? Any knowledge of this "technology" however has been lost to the Ice Dragons since they first called upon the Spirits.

"Perhaps..." Farfalla glances at a scroll with a bemused look upon her face. A quote from one of the oldest scrolls had stuck with her, even though she just assumed it was speaking of an Ice Dragon.
Farfalla reached for the scroll, unraveling it while skimming through the text, stopping about midway.

"The beast sailed across the sky,
Leaving a thunderous moan in it's wake;
Yet all turned a blind eye,
Unfazed by the monstrous sight before them."

Farfalla paused before setting the scroll down, obviously frustrated. The quote seemed eerily familiar, yet she could not remember why.
Exhausted from a long day of searching, she leaves the Royal Library, which thankfully escaped much of the destruction due to its location deep inside the palace.
"Perhaps Duro might know something?"
She sighs as she walks to entrance of the palace, noticing a rumbling sound as she approaches the doors. Startled by a sudden loud noise, she runs outside in search of it's origin.
She spotted an enormous ship that sat outside the City walls, bewildering everyone who saw it. Even though Farfalla had seen many airplanes during her travels, none came close in similarity to the one before her.
The wings each had large engines mounted onto them, while the body of the ship was very wide and flat, except for the cockpit. There was also no tail, nor was there any landing gear she could see.
"Is that even an airplane?" She muttered. Its size was much greater than anything she had seen before.

To be continued...
